Parent Reviews
I am a parent, and my two daughters attend a KinderCare in Puyallup, WA. Specifically the school located on 10221 152nd Street East, Puyallup, WA 98374. I am writing to recognize one of my daughter's teachers, Ms. Shay. I want to say how amazing I think she is as a teacher. My youngest daughter, Ellie, has just blossomed since being with "Miss Teacher Shay" as Ellie calls her. Every night before bed she tells me things that she did in school that day. I am impressed by not only how much Ellie seems to enjoy going to school, but how organized and relevant the education she is receiving at KinderCare with Ms. Shay. From all I've seen at KinderCare and all of the amazing teachers, there is no doubt in my mind that my children will be well prepared to tackle kindergarten. Thank you so much to all the educators at our KinderCare.
KinderCare is much more than just a childcare facility to us, we consider them extended family! Our journey with KinderCare began in 2008 when we enrolled our first foster child in the program. We can't imagine ourselves anywhere else. They greet not only our family, but any child in it with open arms. The staff takes time to get to know each and every one of our children and works hard to help them reach their full potential. I couldn't be happier with our decision to become a part of the KinderCare family and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks!
There is no greater testament to the quality of care that your kids receive when they run (literally) into the building on Monday morning to hug their teachers and tell them about their weekend. When you think that your kids spend more time with their caregivers than you during the week, and hour for hour spent with the caregiver/teacher in a 7 day period, you can't make a mistake. They are so impressionable, each experience shapes their little minds, and each one needs to be positive. Each of the teachers that have had the opportunity to get to know the Ferris kids have touched their lives in positive ways. My kids still walk by the other classrooms and wave to the teachers they've had. Our daughter was bragging the other day about getting to spend some time with Miss Mel (that was her teacher over a year ago, and she's only 3). It's true that to really know the needs of a school building, you should get to know each child by name, strength, and need. It is clear that you have done that, and not just in each of your classrooms but across the board, the staff at KinderCare Meridian know all of the kids by name, strength, and need. When you give out so much of your time, attention, and love to kids you become like family to them. Thank you for being a part of our family.
