Parent Reviews
We could not be more thrilled with how far our twin boys have come in such a short period of time with the Learning Adventures phonics program, and would recommend it to anyone who wants their child to be ahead of the curve in learning. It has been an amazing experience for all of us! The boys knew they were learning, but really saw their Learning Adventures experience as more of a fun time in a small group setting, where they got individualized attention for their specific needs and abilities. Both of our boys were reading on their own BEFORE they started Kindergarten! As parents, we saw that the boys were having fun in Learning Adventures working with Ms. Carrie. It was a great head start to position themahead of the curve when they started school. They are now reading on their own above their age level, and are reading us stories at bedtime. An added benefit is that they are starting to teach their little sister about different sounds and letters, becuase they are just so excited about what they have learned. We are starting our third child in Learning Adventures this fall so she can have the same great experience and head start that our boys had. We love watching her excitement about starting the program. A big thanks to Brandi and Danielle for introducing us to the Learning Adventures program, and a special thanks to Ms. Carrie for all that she has done in the program to make the kids excited about reading and learning! We could not recommend this program enought! Ross and Kim Koutris
March 6, 2012 Incoming Kindercare Kindergarten Parents: We are writing to highly recommend the full time Kindergarten Program at the Kindercare on Kinross Lake Road in Richfield. In this letter we will speak of our history with Kindercare, what is important to us, our praise of the staff, and what we would change for the future. Our history with Kindercare: Our family has been with Kindercare since February 2006 when our oldest son Freddie was 12 weeks old. Around his first birthday we experienced some challenges and made a short-sited decision to change to another daycare center. We returned nine months later and have never looked back. We are more than thrilled with Kindercare for both a day care center and pre-school for our 3 year old son and as a full-time Private Kindergarten for our 6 year old son. Two years ago our family experienced loss of employment for 14 months and maintained our children’s enrollment at Kindercare because of its importance to our family. We can truly say that we are more than satisfied with our decision to keep our children at Kindercare every day - even through financial challenges. We often count our blessings as Kindercare gives us the peace of mind knowing that our children are well cared for at a facility with national oversight using nationally developed and time-tested curriculum. This allows us to excel professionally as we know our sons are at a facility with people who love them and who will always do what is best for them. What is important to us. When looking for daycare and Kindergarten we looked for an established program, national companies, affordability, ease of use, and high standards. While we happen to be part of the first year of the full day private kindergarten class at the Richfield Kindercare we entered it knowing that Ms. Murray, Ms. Brandi, and Ms. Ford had the experience necessary to establish this program. A national company is important to us as the foundation of oversight come at a much higher level than just one or a few locations. In the past 6 years we have had very few occasions to communicate with Kindercare corporate and every time I was satisfied and glad I had another resource to rectify our challenge. As for affordability I am very pleased that the Kindergarten program priced in the middle of the pact of all of our Kindergarten options. It also happened to be not too much of an increase from the Pre-Kindergarten tuition we were already paying. For ease of use this speaks to the hours of operation and the meals being provided. With this full time Kindergarten program we also are permitted to use the center during the entire operational hours for no additional fee. Food is never a problem, does not cost additional, and does not need to be brought in or coordinated. It is simply taken care of. Our opinion of Ms. Murray Ms. Candace Murray is simply the best Kindergarten teacher I could ask for my son. She is compassionate, intelligent, patient, communicative, creative, and generous. She started this program from nothing last Spring and has far exceeded our expectations. She always has time for our questions and communicates more details that I could have ever imagined needing or wanting. She understands all of the children’s challenges and works with each of their specific abilities and shortcomings. Our opinion of Miss Brandi Miss Brandi is more than the ideal daycare center director. She is driven, passionate, kind, caring, and a friend. She will likely never tell you, but recently won a National Kindercare Award for being in the top 10 center Directors in The Knowledge Learning Corporation (Kindercare’s National Name) measured across many metrics. She gets the most out of her staff and has created a family atmosphere where learning and fun occur naturally. Our opinion of Ms. Heather Ford Ms. Heather Ford is Miss Brandi’s boss and is more than just a name on an organization chart. Both of my boys know who she is as she knows them. She has helped in numerous ways from new rubber mulch on a playground, parking lot repavement, and exterior lighting correction. She is extremely timely and thorough with communication. Having strong regional leadership is one of many reasons why we wanted a national chain and have been only pleased with Ms. Ford’s oversight. What we would change if we could. Nothing. Please feel free to contact us for anything else you need as you begin this journey with your student. Sincerely, Jill and Jeffrey M
