Parent Reviews
Our son has absolutely thrived at Little Angels and it's been such a blessing to find Rabab and this wonderful community. Our son started there around the age of 2 and we were so impressed how quickly he adjusted, which is a huge credit to Rabab and her team of amazing teachers who cultivate a warm, loving, and fun-filled environment for the kids. Our son loves going to school every day - he can't wait to see his teachers and friends, to go to music class, to do all of the fun arts and crafts projects, and to spend lots of time outdoors. We love that it's a play-based learning environment for him where he gets so much time to be a kid alongside us seeing huge leaps in his language, skills, and knowledge. The community of parents is also something we treasure. All the parents are very involved, spend time getting to know the kids, and participate in the fun community activities. Our son feels right at home with everyone, which makes it feel like one big family. We cannot recommend Little Angels more highly!
We absolutely love Little Angels! It’s a warm, loving, fun-filled school. Lots of field trips, time outside, and little projects and events. My daughter are both there, and we feel so lucky to have found such a great spot for them. My oldest started at the daycare when she was about a year old and then transitioned to the preschool before turning 2. My youngest is now at the daycare. It has been amazing to have the daycare and preschool in one system (same owner and teachers), so the kids are comfortable with all the teachers and get to really bond with the other kids as they transition to the preschool together. The kids absolutely adore Rabab, the director. Such a wonderful spot!
Our daughter has attended the Castro location for littles (she started when she was 10 months and is now 22 months) and it has been a great experience for her and our family. Rabab and the teachers are great with the little kids; they teach them language skills and songs, and get them to play outside (whether in the back deck or at the local playground, create art projects, and self play. There is also a small rotation of teachers which keeps things fresh for the kids. They also take the kids out on a monthly off-site activity to places like the zoo or academy of science. Our daughter has blossomed with all of the interactions with kids her age, as well as non-parent adults. We've been very happy with Little Angels and would recommend it to anyone.
We have loved our time at Little Angels and both of our children have thrived! It is a special program that really focuses on creating a family-like atmosphere. We love that it's mixed age as well.
We love Little Angels! Our daughter has been so happy at the Glen Park location. Rabab and her team are great and we're so grateful for the love they've given our family.
We love the LANS community. We were worried our child would have a hard time adapting, but Rabab laid out a plan to ease him into their program, and it worked seamlessly. We also had full support through potty training and dropping naps. They feed two full meals and two snacks at the school, and soon, my son was eating veggies that he never touched at home. The hours are great for working parents. We also love how they have a monthly field trip for the kids. This is way more than any other program we've looked at. The weekly enrichment programs are also unique: a music teach comes and there's weekly yoga! The other parents are very involved, and it's nice getting to know the other families that attend this school. I would highly recommend!
Sending our son to Little Angels has been one of the most positive choices we've made during our parenting adventure. My son started at the Little Angels daycare location in Glen Park at 6 months of age and is now at the preschool in Bernal. We're so fortunate to have met Rabab and her team, and to be a part of this community. It's obvious that the teachers love being with the kids; every morning that we come in, my son gives the teacher who is there a hug. The school has themes for learning throughout the month, and my son's development and vocabulary are constantly growing as he learns about space, animals, art, etc. Both the daycare and the preschool are conveniently located near parks with playgrounds, so the kids get plenty of outdoor time; each of the facilities also has its own backyard area. One of the most important aspects of this facility is that there is an overall sense of community between the kids, parents, and teachers. For example, there is an annual camping trip and both families and teachers attend, people go to each other's birthday parties, etc. It's nice to have a group to share my son's triumphs with and also to bounce advice about challenges. I will say that teacher turnover is higher than I expected, as every few months a new teacher will start and stay for a 2 month probationary period, then leave. However, many of these folks leave due to a lack of fit, which tells me that the Little Angels team values how staff interact with the kids and with other staff. The senior teachers who are present have been there for years and are fantastic. Highly recommend.
We have had an excellent experience with Little Angels. Our older child started in the daycare and is now in the preschool, and our younger child just started at the daycare. The staff are tremendously kind and caring, and Rabab is very responsive to suggestions and feedback and very willing to work with parents to create the optimal environment for that particular child. And meals and snacks are included; there was a period of time with our older child where we would say literally a couple times a week after some battle over breakfast or dinner that, "At least they ate one healthy, balanced meal today." I can't overstate how helpful it is to have all the food provided by Rabab. We highly recommend Little Angels!
We've had an incredible experience with LANS over the past year. Rabab and her team of devoted teachers have created a nurturing environment where our child is learning and thriving! Our child had some sensory challenges that impacted his feeding. Rabab and team worked diligently with us to ensure that our child received seamless support between home and daycare to overcome these challenges. We love their commitment to outdoor activities, rain or shine. From engaging projects and art to reading and educational games, there's no shortage of fun and growth. The mix of ages in the daycare brings a diverse and dynamic atmosphere, and the teachers manage it brilliantly. Field trips add an extra layer of excitement to the experience and create fun memories. In just a year, we've seen our child's development flourish thanks to the exceptional care at LANS.
The level of care and nurturing provided at LANS is truly unparalleled. The staff's dedication to creating a warm and supportive environment is evident in every interaction. We especially love the emphasis on outdoor activities – children have ample opportunities to explore and learn in nature. We know that our child will be well equipped to enter kindergarten.
Little Angels is a wonderful, caring, nurturing daycare/preschool. The teachers are very loving and kind. They spend time outdoors, do projects, art, reading, and work on their letters and numbers. It's a wide age range, so it's a mix of levels but they juggle that well. Our daughter always looks forward to going every day.
My 2 year old has been at Little Angels for a year now and he can’t be happier! A lot of sensory play, music and activities, thoughtful teachers and a loving environment. I would highly recommend it!
Our son started at Little Angels when he was 6 months old. He is now 5 and graduating. We literally feel we co-parented with Rabab and her team of teachers. They were kind instructive guides to two parents who did not know what they were doing. We made it through potty training, nap routines and dropping the pacifier. When my son came home able to write his name, count, draw, do yoga and interested in music, we were thrilled. Most importantly, our son was loved and had a group of carrying teachers to support his development. We are eternally grateful to Little Angels for giving us a family to help our son grow.
This is a wonderful school! We absolutely love it here as does our daughter! She started at 18 months at the old Congo location and is 4.5 yo now at the Cortland location. It’s a very loving, supportive, happy, positive and playful environment that the kids thrive in. We love all the field trips, music, yoga, annual art show & camping trip. Somehow they also managed to more than prepare her for K while they were at it. Feel so fortunate that we found this spot when we did! Our daughter loves all her teachers and the parent community is great too! Would definitely do it all over again and we sort of will be as our son is starting here in the fall once he is 2.
Our son had an awesome preschool experience at Little Angels. It is a down-to-earth program with all great aspects of a preschool you want: creative art projects, exciting science experiments, reading and singing, yummy homemade food, field trips, dedicated care givers, yoga, music, and most of all joyful PLAY. The enthusiasm of the kids and warmth of the teachers jumps up at you when you enter the classroom.
We absolutely love Little Angles. This place has been a wonderful place to see both of our children thrive. The teachers are caring and engaged and build strong relationships with the children. We hear stories each day about the joy and experiences they have gone through. Oh, they've of course learned a ton and have a strong foundation for the road ahead. Thanks for everything!
Our son thrived here and we couldn't have been happier with his preschool experience. Now that he's about to graduate, we feel he's well prepared for kindergarten. Rabab and teachers are extremely caring and adept at creating a warm and fun atmosphere for the kids. My son made good friends here and came home each day happy and having learned new things. He loved the home-cooked food and we loved that he was exposed to (and actually ate!) new healthy dishes and vegetables he hadn't been eating at home. We also appreciated getting to know the other families through camping trips, the annual preschool festival, and other events. We'll miss the community!
Wonderful school with amazing, caring teachers! We've been at Little Angels since they opened their Bernal location and couldn't be happier!
This school is a gem! Our son has been there for about 3 years. I love their philosophy and approach to learning and development. They do special projects and take the kids on field trips to help learn and have hands on experiences. Little Angels does an annual art show where the kids get a chance to show all their hard work to parents. Our son was oozing with pride and excitement. The creativity and love of the teachers has helped our son build a love to learn and is ahead of the game for next adventure in life. We are so grateful to all the teachers and Rabab for creating a special place.
Amazing school! Our daughter has been there since 2014 and we couldn't be happier with the program!
We love this school! Our children have been attending, first at the former location and now at the Bernal site, since 2011. We are consistently impressed by the quality, training and creativity of the teachers. A key component of the school is field trips; the kids get out an explore the neighborhood and city often. The kids learn a lot about being good friends and dig deep into topics that interest them. One of my favorite recent activities was a community art opening they hosted after the kids spent months learning about famous artists and applying their signature styles to their own work. We feel very lucky!
