We absolutely love Riverside. Our 2 year old has been there since she was 6 months old. As new parents, we were really nervous to start our baby in daycare but Christina and the other teachers immediately felt like family. They are so warm and patient with her. She looks forward to seeing her friends and teachers everyday. We've always been impressed with her language skills which we attribute to her socialization at Riverside. We are incredibly happy we found Riverside and highly recommend!

Riverside Daycare became a family for our daughter, who was there a little over a year till we moved when she was 2. She loved going there every morning, and never ever looked back after drop off. Also when we picked her up you could tell she had had a wonderful day and was a happy child. Before she could even form sentences, she would constantly tell us the names of other kids and the teachers. She picked up some Spanish (a third language, as she's also bilingual at home), and having her with a mixed age group also seemed like a plus to us at her age. There are various really beautiful playgrounds nearby so she goes out to different locations, and she seemed to have picked up a passion for arts, crafts and books at Riverside. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

My son has been at Riverside for almost a year, and we (specifically he!) love it! Christina and team have created an awesome, caring environment that has help my guy grow by leaps and bounds. His love of numbers, letters, shapes and crafting is no doubt attributed to his time at riverside. He’s always excited to go in the morning, hopping out of his stroller with joy to start his daily routine with all his pals. I personally love how the group is mixed age, letting him play with older and younger kids alike, especially helpful practice for baby sister on the way :) Christina and the Riverside team are a critical component of our growth and development, allowing us to thrive in NYC, would absolutely recommend!

Both my 2.5 year and 9 month daughters attended the Riverside Daycare. It was wonderful seeing them get excited about going there everyday and picking them up with a great smile on their faces. Their language, motor and social skills skyrocketed. The staff is absolutely caring, professional and helpful. The other children and families at the daycare were also of great support to our daughter's development We are very thankful with the Riverside Daycare community.

Our daughter has attended Riverside Daycare since she was just 10 months old, and now she is almost 2. It would be an understatement to suggest that it was difficult for us as new parents to drop our baby off with strangers, but Christina and her team were very supportive, provided assurance when we needed it, and before we knew it, Riverside Daycare became an indispensable part of our lives. Since then, our daughter has become part of a close-knit group of daycare friends, she has experienced rapid intellectual, social and physical growth, and now, she runs from her stroller to hug her Riverside Daycare caregivers each morning when we arrive. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Riverside Daycare family, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in the difficult process of finding daily care for their young child.

Our son has been going to riverside daycare for a year now and it has been the best decision for our family. We love all the teachers and feel it is a safe and loving environment for the kids. Our son comes home happy and we can tell how much he’s learned. They do crafts, games, read books every day, have meals and nap time. It’s a long day for kids to be away from home but there is no place I would rather have our son be. It’s really a second home for him.

This daycare is heaven-sent. Imagine dropping your child off to a family that is filled with love, lessons, and crazy little like-minded friends. They are so gifted with teaching and showing that I will say my little guy has learned more at Riverside than I could have taught him at home. He just keeps surprising me and I honestly feel so lucky to have found Christina and her family in such a crazy time. Ace has been there for nearly a year and every morning he can't wait to put his shoes on and go to "school". Thank you Riverside family.

My 19 month old daughter has attended Riverside since late January 2021 and it has honestly been life changing for both of us. She’s coming on leaps and bounds socially and developmentally since joining. I love the fact that she gets to spend her day with a mixed age range so she can learn from the older children and learn how to care for younger ones. The curriculum is varied and introduces them to a lot of basic concepts and topics during term time and now that they are getting outside, Christina and her team keep it interesting taking them to the many local playgrounds daily for some fresh air. The numerous updates through the app are helpful and the food provided on-site makes my life as a working mom so much easier than some of my friends who I see struggling to prep lunches and snacks. I really cannot recommend this daycare more and am so glad we get to be part of the Riverside family!

Riverside Daycare has been a lifesaver for our family. My daughter started there after 6 months at a large day care center and 2 months at home during pandemic. From the beginning, the Riverside team did everything possible to make us and our daughter feel welcome and safe. We love the personalized attention and family atmosphere, and she is excited to see her friends and teachers there every day. She has learned so much and I love that she is getting so much great socialization with kids of all ages. She walks around the house putting things away and singing the cleanup song, loves to help, and has learned to be gentle with people, animals, and objects. I have never felt a moment's concern about her safety or happiness at Riverside. We really feel like part of the family and are so grateful for everyone there.

We could not be more impressed and happy with our experience at Riverside Daycare. Our son started attending at 6 months old, and while it was an adjustment for us as first time parents to a young baby to leave him with someone else, it didn't take long for us to be very comfortable with Christina and the entire Riverside Daycare team. They truly treat our son like part of their family. We have also enjoyed getting to know the other families at daycare, and love the interaction our son gets with older kids. We have also been very impressed with how they have handled pivoting to new policies and procedures during the pandemic, and have always felt very safe and comfortable sending our son to daycare since they reopened.

My daughter has been attending Riverside Daycare for just under a year and started when she was a 18 months. We absolutely love it here. She was barely walking and taking and now comes home to tell us how much fun she had with her friends. I’m always surprised at the things she knows and says because I know she is learning much of it from Christina and the other staff. I like that there are mixed ages. My daughter tends to follow older kids and has learned a lot from them while learning how to be gentle with young ones as well. Christina’s home is always clean and very inviting for kids. The numbers are small so my daughter can really get to know the other kids and staff while getting a lot of individualized attention. The meals are very balanced with a variety so she can try new things. The Kindertales app lets us know how her day was so we feel at ease and can be a part of her day with her. I’d recommend this daycare to anyone!

Our two year old Finn loved his time at Riverside. We were in New York for 3 months for work, so it was an unusual temporary placement for them. Luckily they had a space and made him feel very much at home. The daycare is in Christina's home, and it really does feel like you're part of the family there. It's very cosy, with small numbers of children with an abundance of care. Christina and her team are extremely diligent about cleanliness, order and structure to the day. Each day and week is planned out carefully, with food provided and activities carefully structured. As it's small, all the kids hang out together which worked extremely well for us - Finn could see what the older kids did, and was able to set an example to the younger ones. We'd have no hesitation in calling up when we are next in town.

When my daughter started Riverside Daycare she just turned 1 and I can honestly say it was tough for the both of us in the beginning because this was new for my daughter and I. Now 5 months later my daughter walks in smiling and gets excited just to be there. Christina and her staff treat her as if she was their own and I couldn't be more happy to have such loving mentors in her life to guide her and help her. The Kindertales app is another plus, I love being able to see what she ate throughout the day and I absolutely love receiving pictures of her throughout the day! Makes me happy at work while I am missing my baby!

My son has been attending at Riverside daycare since he was 6 months old. He is the youngest one and he thrived immensely in last 4 months. We love the fact that it is home-based and mixed-age daycare, I think it is very beneficial for young and the older kids. Christina is super organized, she let us know the starting date in advance and we had one less thing to worry about during the first months. The staff is very warm and educated. Christina and her staff listens parents and accommodate the special needs of a each child if it is needed. It is also very nice to get updates during the day. Riverside day care is celebrating its first year this month!

We love Riverside daycare. Our son started there about a month ago and we couldn't be happier. The staff, led by Christina, are warm and professional. Whenever we pick up our son we are happy at how calm and nurturing the atmosphere is. The staff keeps the parents updated throughout the day with an app- we get photos! Christina is very understanding and flexible and is always willing to share parenting tips.
