We have had a wonderful experience at Roots and Wings. The environment is calm, creative, and very child-centered. Instead of a rigid curriculum, the teachers build lessons around the children’s interests, encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration. It’s been amazing to see how much confidence and independence my kiddo has developed through hands-on exploration, art, nature, and open-ended play. Class sizes are small and all the teachers know each child well. They take the time to understand your child’s personality, strengths, and needs, and they communicate regularly with parents about what the children are working on and discovering. If you’re looking for a preschool that values creativity, emotional development, and genuine curiosity about the world, this school is a special place. The sense of community among families and teachers makes it feel warm and supportive, and we’ve been so grateful for the experience.

Roots & Wings Preschool has been an incredible experience for our family. The small class sizes ensure that every child receives thoughtful attention and care. The teachers are warm, patient, and truly dedicated to the children’s growth and happiness. We especially appreciate how much time the kids spend outdoors exploring and learning through play. Since starting there, our child has gained so much independence and confidence. Her social skills have blossomed, and she comes home excited to share what she’s learned each day. The program strikes a wonderful balance between nurturing, learning, and creativity.

Roots and Wings has been part of our family for the last 9 years! Both of our girls went there and now, our son is there. The philosophy, warm environment and caring teachers have never wavered, even during Covid. One of our favorite parts of the school is their whole foods program which taught all my kids to try new things and enjoying cooking! We also love the outdoor play space and their kindness curriculum. But most of all, we love the teachers who love on our kids like their own and provide a safe space while we work. We ❤️ 🌳 & 🦋!

I am So happy I stumbled across Roots and Wings and I am very grateful for all the good work from all the staff members caring for my son’s needs helping with learning to create boundaries and learn new manners while I am not around, He always looks forward to come to school and see his friends and teachers thank you guys for creating a safe and comfortable environment for us ♥️. and big shout out to teacher Lisa my son look forward to seeing you every time he goes to school 💗
