Parent Reviews
We are so lucky to have been a part of the Rosenberg community for the past four years. The play-based curriculum has fostered a true love of learning in both of my children that I can already see extending far beyond their time as preschoolers, and the cozy Arts & Crafts building, beautiful and enormous garden and backyard, and close proximity to the Presidio has been incredibly beneficial to their development. As full-time working parents, my spouse and I wanted a program that was comprehensively full-day and close to year-round, so that our kids would spend their time at school with a complete peer group and not just the morning or afternoon. We also greatly appreciated the flexibility the "no potty training required" policy provides. I can't say enough wonderful things about the incredible teachers, staff, and family community at Rosenberg - they have been a source of strength, support, and celebration for us all. And there's nothing like rounding out the week with Shabbat, challah, and songs every Friday evening!
This is the best preschool if you're a working family on the West Side of San Francisco. They teach empathy, humility and life lessons. The teachers and staff are wonderful and the community is as good as it gets.
I cannot say enough great things about Rosenberg!! All three of my kids have gone through the program and this is our ninth and last year. The facility, especially the multiple outdoor spaces (playground, lawn, organic garden AND vehicle area) is amazing. The teachers are experienced, warm, nurturing and really care about the kids. The director Kelly is a fantastic partner in child-raising and wonderful human. The family community is lovely and we have built lasting friendships here. Our family isn't Jewish, but we have appreciated the grounding in universal values and fun rituals that the kiddos love. I could go on and on but I'm tearing up as I write this!
Truly the most special, supportive, warm environment I could have ever hoped to find for my daughter. The staff and teachers are all incredibly caring and have the kids' best intentions at heart at all times. We enjoyed partnering with the teachers during particularly difficult times of growth & development; they offered tips for dealing with tantrums and guided us when it came time for kindergarten readiness. As we move on to kindergarten this fall, I know we will look back with fond memories on our time at Ro.
