Part of the nationwide Head Start program. The program offers free preschool education to qualifying residents. Students will also receive family, health, and social services. While the program is based on the Creative Curriculum philosophy, it uses inspiration from several curriculums including Frog Street, OWL, SHINE, and Energy Balance. Lessons are individualized and focus on literacy, math, science, art, computer literacy, music, movement, and construction. The primary goal is to ensure that at-risk children receive an equal opportunity to receive the best education and health services.
