Parent Reviews
Our son started at KinderCare Russet Laurel when he was four months old. From the second we walked in to do a tour, we were welcomed with open arms. I knew we found the perfect daycare. Our eight-year-old twins also stayed there from time to time when school was out and they loved it! They always ask when they are going back! It is always scary to leave your baby with strangers but the staff was always comforting, informative and accommodating to my needs and concerns as well as our sons development and needs. Miss Razia, Juliet, Melissa and Rachel have been the staple teachers in his care since his first day. All of them have their unique way of caring for him and it warms our hearts how much they treat him like their own. The exceptional staff didn’t end with them, every single staff member I have encountered either in passing or who cared for our children has always been so friendly. Fatima (Center Director) and Miss Tonya (Assistant Director) have done an EXCELLENT job in making Russet Laurel a center to be proud of, where families feel comfortable and safe leaving their children. Our baby, now toddler, goes to daycare everyday with a smile on his face, excited to be there and comes home with the same happy face! He is now 14 months and has grown and learned so much under their care. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the state and have to leave. We are saddened but forever grateful to have found this beautiful daycare center and the amazing staff in it!
We have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. During the past three years we have been through 5 different daycare facilities with me leaving pretty upset with the way they were run, in terms of the treatment of children and numerous problems that revolved around safety, cleanliness, engagement and administrative practices. When I walked into KinderCare Russet it was on a whim. I thought I would hate it, but decided to check it out. I visited the toddler room and was very impressed with the way the teachers were engaged with the kids and how loving the environment was. The teachers were enthusiastically singing and dancing in one room, while another teacher had her group sitting down listening to stories in another group. My husband and I ended up choosing KinderCare Russet over a brand new, highly respected daycare because of how engaging the teachers were.Fatima and Tonya have done such an excellent job running the center. They are always warm and friendly. The first time I met Fatima, I thought she was a teacher because she was in the classroom actively involved. Tonya knows every parent by first name and considers everyone to be family. They stay on top of what needs to be done from cleaning the facility, ensuring administrative processes are up to date and make a noticeable effort to only hire the best teachers who are dedicated to actually helping children learn and develop. This has been a refreshing change from my past experiences. Every other center I have been in doesn't compare. I have never worried about my son after drop off. The communication I get from the teachers is outstanding as well. When my son has been home sick, or when I hadn't been to the center in a while, one of my son's teachers, Ms. Vicki would even call to see how he was and give me updates on his progress. While this isn't the prettiest place aesthetically, it’s a beautiful environment that I wish we had found earlier. I am very thankful to the administration and teachers of KinderCare Russet.
Kindercare has been family to us since the first day we started bringing our son in. Our initial interest in Kindercare came from Miss Tonya, as she politely and promptly escorted someone off the premises that was loitering in the lobby. We knew then, that our newborn baby was going to be in good hands. Since our son first arrived, he has grown and actually wakes up excited to get the day started at Kindercare. All of the staff have been a big reason for his excitement and has had a tremendous impact in his growth and development. His bond with his teachers has been special, as he's grown with his educators from the infant and toddler classes. He was just 3 months when he started. He is now 17 months, and is now running around and getting into everything. He is also a fast learner thanks to the dedication and hard work his teachers have put in. We would like to thank all the members of the Kindercare staff for a job well done. You've helped us during a special time in our life and we are truly appreciative. We will definitely miss it here and hope to find a place that will give our family the love and care that Kindercare has shown us during our time here. Take Care, The Taylor Family
