Serena is great! She is fun, creative and very loving. She always took a good care of our daughter. We always felt confident to leave our daughter there, knowing she would be safe and well taken care of. And we also loved the fact that Serena cooks and offers healthy meals to the children. our daughter doesn’t go there anymore but she still mentions Serena, her friends and things she did there. I recommended Serena’s smiling sun to close friends and I’ll definitely do it to any parents.

We had such a wonderful experience at Serena's Smiling Sun. Our son was there from age 1 to 3, and we were so sad to leave. Serena herself is warm, has great energy, and genuinely cares for the kids. Our son loved going to her home every day and regularly talked about Serena and her family (and still does!). I really appreciated the variety of nutritious foods she provided for lunch and snacks, which she included in her write-up of each day. And a bonus that our son learned some Italian and brought home many adorable art projects. Serena is also very professional and organized and easy to communicate with. Overall, we were extremely happy with Serena's daycare and feel so fortunate our son was in her good care for two years.

I was very lucky to have my daughter in Serena‘s care from the age of one till 3 1/2 when she started preschool. There just aren’t enough good things to say about this daycare. As a working parent, to know completely that your child is safe, having fun, being nurtured, and eating delicious food every day offers a kind of peace of mind that is rare. Leaving Serena‘s care was hard because it was such a nurturing cocoon, but because of her care, my daughter has been thriving in preschool. My family will be forever grateful that we found Serena‘s Smiling Sun.

While on a short stay in La Jolla our 3 year old granddaughter attended Serena‘s Smiling Sun daycare. From day one, Ms Serena welcomed our granddaughter with open arms, warmth and love. Serena is authentic and lively and provides a loving and secure home for the children in her care. I dropped off and picked up my granddaughter many times and every time I left with an extremely positive and reassuring feeling that our granddaughter was in good hands with Ms Serena. While only for a short time, Ms Serena had become a big part of our granddaughter‘s daily life, she was happy and cheerfully went to „Ms Serena‘s house“ every day. That speaks volumes and is a tribute to the wonderful care she got at Serena‘s Smiling Sun. I can highly and without any reservations recommend Serena‘s Smiling Sun Daycare.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Serena’s Smiling Sun daycare for our daughter, who started there when she was around 8 months old. Serena is truly wonderful with the children; her kindness and dedication are unparalleled. We cannot recommend her enough. As a parent, I occasionally had concerns about different aspects of my daughter’s day, such as lunchtime or naptime. However, every time I saw how happy and thriving my daughter was at Serena’s, my worries quickly disappeared. Whether it was lunchtime, playtime, or naptime, our daughter was always content and well-cared for. Serena’s Smiling Sun is a place where children are genuinely happy and nurtured, and Serena herself is simply the best.

My daughter attended Serena's smiling sun day care for 2 years and this daycare is truly amazing. We could not be happier with Serena and we feel very sad to leave. Serena cares about the kids, she feeds them well, with a very good, home cook and warm meal and healthy snacks. She meets all their needs and the kids have so much fun and are learning a lot in both Italian and English. It really is like an extended family. The environment is very clean and safe, with indoor and outdoor spaces and many fun activities ranging from babies- toddler to 3-4 years old kids. I highly recommend sending your kid here for a great experience.

My child has attended Serena's Smiling Sun daycare for almost 3 years now, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Serena is simply amazing! She provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for the kids, with ample play space both indoors and out. She plans all sorts of fun projects and activities, and also provides snacks and hot lunch every day - I have been told (multiple times) that she is the best cook ever! Serena is kind, thoughtful, and extremely capable, and it is apparent every day how much she cares for the children. This is a wonderful daycare, and I highly recommend it!!!
