I feel so lucky to have found Sheleen. She and her mom are incredibly caring, really love the kids, and are so great at working through any issues. Sheleen and her mom have taken such great care of my kids over the last 4 years. Sheleen is great at communicating all the daily details like feeding, naps, and diapers. My kids also had allergies and she was extremely careful. My kids were very picky eaters and didn’t drink milk. It was amazing how she was able to get them to eat a variety of foods. They would take so much care in preparing healthy foods and also made adjustments to accommodate allergies. I was amazed to see pictures of my daughter taking big bites which would never happen at home, and I wish I sent her there earlier. For my son, they were extremely patient and would spoon feed him milk when he was still an infant. Sheleen also does a lot of social-emotional development and teaching. Some of the things she taught were letters and numbers, science, singing and art. My kids were never bored and loved going there. Sheleen has also provided great advice in so many areas, like preschool readiness, potty training, behavior, sleeping, feeding, etc. I highly recommend Sheleen.

I wish I could give my phone number here for a more in-depth review but tldr Sheleen is the absolute best. We don't know what we would have done without her and her mom. 10/10 highly recommend. Our daughter started in the middle of the pandemic when there was so much anxiety around childcare and Sheleen calmed out nerves right out of the gate. She has also been a great partner in dealing with food allergies by always checking with us in case any new food items are being tested. We felt so good about Sheleen's that we sent our son there earlier than our daughter when we had to return to work! By the time our daughter left she could spell her name, was fluent in basic mandarin, displayed amazing empathy, and was extremely sad to leave (as were we).

Sheleen has been taking care of my daughter for 4 years. She and her mom are absolutely wonderful. They make home cooked meals and snacks for the children (all healthy and organic). She has planned activities for the children everyday and they learn so much! My daughter stayed here through age 4 since we felt it was better then moving her into a preschool during the pandemic and she learned more than she would have at even preschool (math, early reading vocabulary, shapes, colors, etc). We moved her into preschool finally and she has been flourishing. I cannot recommend her enough. The daycare itself feels more like a share care/ nanny share — all the parents/children know each other well. Sheleen and her mom are so loving with the children, I truly could not have asked for a better caretaker for my daughter.

My daughter has been going to Sheleen's daycare since she was five months old. We started at Sheleen's daycare in the middle of covid after having been on the waitlist since I was pregnant. We were referred there by friends. We were really worried about sending our daughter to daycare during a pandemic at first, but Sheleen and her mother have made us feel safe and secure. They are taking every precaution to ensure everyone is healthy and we have had no issues at all. This is our first kid and Sheleen and her mother have been so helpful as we navigate things as new parents. From teething advice to ensuring that our daughter is on a great nap schedule, we know we can ask Sheleen about anything. We also know that our daughter is getting exposed to so many great things at daycare: sensory play, new foods, music, books, and more. In a world where so many things feel a little scary, Sheleen's daycare is a place of stability and safety for our family and we're so lucky to have her.

I went to visit last week and put our name on the waiting list. It seems a great day care. Sheleen is bilingual and actually she can speak English, mandarin and Cantonese. She is an experienced preschool teacher and opened this daycare with her mom. They look after 6 kids in their 2 bed 2 bath unit. It's super clean! I went at noon so all kids were napping peacefully. The mom sits in with all the kids when they nap ! I felt so assured. The location is super convenient for me anyway but it's also next to Muni, Caltrain and library and parks.

We lucked out finding Sheleen's daycare when she just opened for our 3mo before I had to return to work. He is now 2yo and Sheleen and her mom are like second family to us. He's bilingual, very verbal in both Mandarin and English, is polite, can share, sing, and is social with other toddlers and babies. She provides all meals and snacks, and is very flexible with dropoff and pickup times when needed. We will be enrolling our 2nd child in her daycare this summer.
