Our Intermediate program, for children ages 3-4, provides children with many opportunities to explore learning centers and engage in authentic writing experiences. Your child will be introduced to literacy concepts and expand upon mathematical thinking and scientific inquiry through hands-on materials and exploration. Children will also begin to practice social-emotional skills and independently navigate their classroom community.

Southern Highlands prep is an amazing school. The teachers and staff all care about their students and I feel completely safe taking my son here. He has gone here for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. His first grade teacher, Ms. Ballard is amazing. She truly cares about her students and their success. She challenges her students to excel and be the best they can be. She understands her students strengths and weaknesses and works with them to make sure they all succeed. My son has grown and learned so much this year. On top of that, she communicates regularly with parents and is quick to respond to my questions or if I have something I'd like to discuss. The staff as a whole are great at communication and very friendly and willing to help. We love this school and will continue to be a part of the SHPS community!
Very happy to have my daughter enrolled for the past 2 years at Southern Highlands Prep. The attention to detail and level of care the teachers and admins express is second to none. Highly recommended to anyone in Las Vegas looking for a safe, caring place for your children
