Parent Reviews
Our son is three years old. He has been at KinderCare in spring since he was about sixteen weeks old. Choosing our child's daycare was not an easy decision. We visited a few, but hands down KinderCare won. Looking back and hearing other parents stories it all comes down to the staff. Ms. Gwen and Ms. Katie really sold the place, There was nothing "fake" about their love of children. Three years later they are like a extension of our family. Ms. Katie has been the bright spot of my son's day. He can't leave without saying good bye to her. I really don't think she has had a bad day and if she does she never shows it. She always has time to say a kind word to him and acknowledge him. As a former basketball coach one of the lessons I learned early on is every parent believes his or her son/daughter is the best and greatest. I had to pay attention to only 12-15 kids and make them know I was there for them and cared about them. She does if for all of them and it is amazing. In talking with other parents at birthday parties we all agree our children have changed so much with her music program. We all laugh at "Katie" music that we all know the words to. Recently with our son transitioning to a new classroom we are out of "routine" and our son has been having some separation issues in the morning. Ms. Gwen has been there helping him and us every step of the way. I can't say enough of how much I appreciate that when I call, she checks on him to give us peace of mind that our child is OK. Again listening to other friends' day care nightmare stories I am more than happy to smile and tell them how great of a place and how much peace of mind we have because of Gwen.
My son has been attending the KinderCare early learning center since he was three years old and this year will be off to Kindergarten in the fall. My other son has been going there since he was born and he is now two years old. I was at another daycare, not a KinderCare, prior to this daycare and I must say I have never had the experiences I am having now at any point in time. From the moment I walk in to the moment I pick my kids up at the end of the day I love going in and coming out of this building. I get good mornings from every person I pass and I get a have a good night every time. You never go un noticed and if you have concerns they are always there to listen to you. They keep you updated on everything that is going on and no sickness is every missed. I love how much everyone that works here is very passionate about the children and I have never had a issue with anyone here and I have now been in every room. The Director and the Assistant Director never just do their director work and hang out in the front office. I see them constantly interacting with the children and in the rooms as well doing other things besides just their office functions. A lot of times people don't even want to be bothered in this type of position and this is not the case here. Anytime there is a issue with my children I am a very concerned parent to try to get the situation fixed and resolved and the teachers as well are right there to back me up. They never give up and this is important being my kids are there full time. So I think that this is a very important part of the daycare process when the teachers actually care and try to help and not just think of your child being a lost cause because something is not easily fixed. Whenever a issue is expressed as far as learning, or whatever the case may be, the teachers are very understanding and take what I have to say to a further step and help them. I can definitely say that when my youngest goes to Kindergarten in a few years I am going to be very sad to leave and miss seeing all the great and wonderful people that work here at this KinderCare.
