Private, non-profit preschool program serving Bay Area families since 1967. Children are encouraged to become curious learners that use social competence, cooperation, self-reliance, motivation, and confidence when making decisions. Programs provide children with opportunities to develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Daily activities include art, music and movement, literature, natural and physical science, and pre-reading and pre-math experiences. Outdoor rubberized playground allows children to participate in creative play and physical fitness activities. Located at the St. Francis Episcopal Church, however, religion is not a part of the curriculum. Optional before-school Chapel program takes place weekly.
