We appreciate the inclusive, caring, welcoming, and personalized environment SSNS offers! We had child 1 who was in SSNS from 2yrs to 5yrs (in the oldest class now!), as well as child 2 from 3mo to 2.5yrs. As such, we've had kids in ALL class levels and had amazing experiences across the board. We also were fortunate to have been with SSNS pre-pandemic and through it/still attending and - while current state is different than it was - the level of intentionality and care has not waned in any way. We've seen amazing academic and social growth for both of our kiddos and really appreciate connecting with parents/families and the teachers to truly feel part of this community. Also a fan of SSNS including parent voice in decision-making and transparency in processes and practices of the school and lessons with kiddos. My son has been at Stepping Stones for almost two years now. We love it , our experience has been all positive. The teachers are so kind and thoughtful, they even send photos of our kiddo and updates daily. They truly feel like our “village.” Our son has grown and learned so much . We have also felt totally comfortable here during the pandemic (our son returned in June 2020. ) i can’t recommend SSNS enough!

My daughter attends Stepping Stones in Lincoln Square and I couldn't be happier. Our nannyshare ending was a blessing in disguise because it allowed us to find Stepping Stones right as the new location was opening. The space is beautiful, brand new, with loads of natural lighting, plenty of space and a great selection of stimulating and age-appropriate toys. There's even an art room! It's easy to see that a lot of thought was put into the design and layout. Last but not least, the staff are great. All of them are attentive to each child's needs and keep me updated throughout the day with photos and notes of how my daughter is doing. They allow the children to learn through play and the joy is so easy to see. I can picture my daughter continuing to thrive as she progresses from one room to another. I couldn't recommend this school more highly.
