We've had a wonderful experience with Sunshine House Meck-PreK! The teachers are nurturing, patient, and genuinely care about each child's growth. Our child has blossomed both socially and academically over the past few months. The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between structured learning and creative play, and the communication with parents is excellent. We've especially appreciated how the staff encourages kindness, curiosity, and independence. The classroom environment is safe, welcoming, and filled with age-appropriate activities that make learning fun. We had a very bad experience in the previous day care where our child cried everyday and was never happy to go to school but this one gave the smile back . As a working parent we wanted our kid to be in safe and happy environment and Sunshine House will provide all that you need for your child. We feel confident and grateful knowing our child is being well-prepared for kindergarten. Highly recommend this Pre-K to other families!
We love Sunshine House Ballantyne! The staff is so caring, the facility is clean, and our kids have thrived. Our oldest was more than ready for kindergarten, and our 2-year-old is loving it too!
We have had the most amazing experience at Sunshine House this year. The teachers and the staff are so welcoming,kind and friendly - know everyone's names, families, individual needs, and are always immediately responsive and support for our son's growth and education. My son is in MECK Pre-K and he already learned a lot. I,m so happy and proud of him and his teachers. There are fun activities to keep the kids interested in learning every day. Mrs Osborne doing a lot to made the school such a special place and interesting for our child's development. Thank you so much!
We have had a wonderful experience at the Sunshine House (Ballantyne location). The Directors and staff do an amazing job of being flexible to accommodate parent's desires and priorities. The Directors are very responsive and attentive. The level of communication through the app is amazing. My son loves it there and we plan to continue there in the upcoming years.
we had an amazing experience this year with Sunshine House Ballantyne. All the teachers and staffs were very sincere and hardworking . They are always there to help you and listen to you. We have 0 complains about them instead we were lucky to find such an amazing school. Miss Dominique, Miss Shy and Miss Toby and all the staffs are best. My kid loved his prek here and still continuing for summer school. Best School ever!!!
My daughter studied at this school for 1.5 years and finished Pre-K. She went to classes with great pleasure. The staff is friendly. My daughter really liked Ms. Dominique and Ms. Shy, Ms.Taylor. We'll miss you. The school is very cozy with its own kitchen, which is very important. The food is normal, varied. Interesting theme days, holidays and excursions! Thanks Sunshine! I definitely recommend it!
My 2 boys love it here! They love the friends they've made and the teachers. The teachers really make genuine connections with the children and parents. The directors are nothing short of amazing, kind, caring, and attentive. I let anyone who's looking for childcare in the area about The Sunshine House!
Mrs. Becky and Mrs. Amelia in the infant room are incredible caregivers and educators. I cannot say enough good things about the both of them. They are both kind and caring individuals that fostering a nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and valued. Mrs. Becky and Mrs. Amelia are a great team and we are so sad to see Mrs. Amelia move on to other opportunities. The Sunshine House should be doing whatever they can to keep educators like these two at their facility, for they are the reason we have continued to recommend the Sunshine House to so many new parents in need of childcare.
I’m so glad I can drop my infant off and feel as though he is safe and in a caring environment. The infant teacher is AMAZING! I am so thankful that my son gets to hang out and learn with her while I’m at work. When we walk in, my son gets the largest smile on his face. He absolutely loves her! It makes me a little jealous sometimes lol. Just a couple weeks in, we noticed a huge jump in our son's development. He was rolling, able to lift his head high and sturdy, and very communicative. It’s always hard leaving your little ones to go to work, but at The Sunshine House they make it a lot easier on you.
Ms Yvette and Ms Shannon are wonderful. They both made me and my husband feel at ease from the second we stepped foot in the facility for our tour. Ms Heather was amazing with our son in the infant room. Hilarious and loves her babies! Ms Becky is so much fun and always knew our son was in good hands in her room. Ms Ana is the such a great teacher. Her patience and love really show. She does a phenomenal job with the toddlers. Teaching them sign language and dancing to songs. Not to mention to upload pictures of him everyday so I can see how much fun they are having. What a great school- we love y’all!
