We are so happy with the center and staff at Sunshine House West Columbia. Mrs. AJ and her team are wonderful with our infant son; they communicate effectively via the app and at the center, and we love getting photos during the day. There is so much info about his week and schedule available on the classroom bulletin board - we like practicing the Spanish word and ASL sign for the week with our son. After being referred here from another parent, we couldn't imagine being anywhere else. I would highly recommend AJ, Ms. E and their team.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible care our son has received at the Sunshine House since we started bringing him when he was barely three months old. As first-time parents, we were nervous about leaving him in someone else's care, but from day one, the staff made us feel completely at ease. The warm, nurturing environment has allowed our son to thrive, and we've seen such remarkable growth in him. At just six months old, he has already formed strong bonds with the caregivers, and it's evident that they genuinely care about his well-being. The staff is attentive, loving, and always goes above and beyond to ensure that each child feels safe and happy. We appreciate how they take the time to provide individualized care, making sure he is engaged with age-appropriate activities and receiving the attention he needs. Communication has been fantastic, with daily updates that let us know how he's doing, what he's learning, and even how he's interacting with the other little ones. It really helps us feel connected to his day, and we love seeing how excited he is when we pick him up. We can't recommend the Sunshine House enough. They've created such a wonderful space for our son to grow, learn, and feel loved. Thank you for providing such exceptional care!

This is a 5 star center and has been for years! This is coming from a former employee and current parent of a child who attends the center. I have known and loved both Mrs. Alexis (Center Director) and Ms. E (Assistant Director) for over 7 years. They have always treated me, their staff and families like their own and it is such a joy to be greeted by them both every morning and afternoon! When I needed a center for my child to attend during a transitional period in our lives, this is the first center I turned to and I am so grateful for them everyday! My son is thriving more than ever and the teachers and staff are some of the sweetest and most caring people I have ever met. Not to mention the proximity to where we live. It's such a blessing to be so close to the center so that I am in reach of my child at any time. I wouldn't place my child anywhere else. 4/22/2025--Just giving an updated review! This location of the Sunshine House is still my son's favorite place to be! Mrs. Alexis and Ms. E have made such a lasting positive impact on me and my family! Awesome daycare! The staff treated my children like their own. I love Skylar being in the infant room, she made sure everything went smoothly and made sure she sent me plenty of updates. This daycare is very clean and well kept. If you want a daycare that treats you and your children like family this is the daycare to go to. I love that they keep the parents involved in everything and the director and assistant Directors, Mrs. AJ & Mrs. E are great at making sure the daycare runs smoothly and in order.
