Parent Reviews
Our son attended Superkidos for 3 years and we couldn't be more satisfied with the care he received. Neyla and the team there are attentive, loving and create a safe space where kids can explore and learn about the world around them. It felt like extension of our family and very easy to discuss care and curriculum. Plus tuition is quite reasonable considering the high-demand for quality care in the area. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to secure a spot.
From the moment I walked through the door and Neyla greeted me, I knew I would be enrolling my son at her childcare center. We actually enrolled temporarily as we were waitlisted for another center. This was back in 2019 and my son was 10 weeks old on his first day with her. When was son was 11 months old, he finally got a spot at the center we were waitlisted at- though I didn’t want to leave, we did. After several months at the other center, we returned to Neyla. I watched a couple of other families do the same- leave and come back after experiencing other centers in home or facility based. There simply isn’t a comparison. Neyla’s place is clean, organized and safe. What more can you ask for? Oh, Neyla herself is an amazing provider. She not only loves all of the kids, but she goes above and beyond with daily lesson plans and ensures that the kids all have a well balanced age-appropriate diet while in her care. Access to nature, she’s got that too. The kids go outside daily- even if just briefly when cold; weather permitting. She always ensures that all the babies/toddlers are sent home with dry diapers. If you send your child with their own food, your dishes are returned to you clean. The kids are ready to go home when you arrive properly dressed + bags packed as needed. All the “t”’s are crossed and “i”’s are dotted. She is very detail oriented and it shows. She utilizes the Tadpoles app for daily reports of check-in/out, diapering, mealtimes, naps, & activities- with pictures! Oh, did I mention how reliable she is- she has never missed a day unscheduled. The center is closed for major holidays as well as one week in summer for vacation + 2 weeks in winter for the holidays. She even managed to have two babies, relocate, and lay an immediate family member to rest without missing a single day over the 6+ years I have known her. She’s even open on snow days when other centers are closed. We also braved the pandemic as best as we could together- with love and understanding. We fought tears on my son’s last day as did all of the other parents that have entrusted their children in her care. This brings me to today. I have since had another child in 2023. My daughter started at her center when she was 3 months old. When my daughter started daycare she was not taking bottles as she was previously exclusively breastfed and our attempts to bottle train her at home were unsuccessful. Neyla was very accommodating to our highly modified schedule in our attempt to slowly wean our daughter. Neyla also went above and beyond to problem solve and ensure my daughter stayed hydrated even when she wouldn’t drink her bottle by utilizing a silicone bottle to squirt the milk into her mouth. Sadly, due to no fault of Neyla, my daughter was diagnosed with Failure To Thrive and a Pediatric Feeding Disorder. We had to leave Neyla once again as my daughter had to be hospitalized to receive a Nasal Gastric tube and was on a feeding plan that was impossible to manage outside of our home. After many months of working with our medical team, we were finally able to return to Neyla with a modified feeding schedule. Neyla has been patient and has actually put in effort to try to feed my then 15mo. old daughter anything that we could. She is now 21mo. old and for the past couple of months taken to some purees which started at daycare- not at home or with the medical team. My daughter still has her NG tube placed and Neyla is careful to ensure that it doesn’t come out unnecessarily- it has only come out 2x under her care and both times due to my daughter vomiting and it came out of her mouth. This is not preventable. Neyla is careful to remove it fully so my daughter is comfortable throughout the remainder of the day. Choosing a childcare center is likely one of the biggest most important decisions you can make on behalf of your child who cannot even at the time communicate. Even when I relocated to Tysons, it was a no brainer that I would travel the extra distance/time to Neyla. Simply because she’s worth it.
