I had a really good experience coming to Sylvan Learning for ASVAB prep. Everyone here is extremely kind and helpful and it made a huge difference in my scores. I met with Mr. Steven specifically and he was very knowledgeable about the subjects I needed help with and made them a lot easier to digest.
My daughter started with Sylvan in February 2025 for reading and language arts. Her confidence has really grown, and she's reading much better. The teachers and managers are wonderful and customize the support to her needs. We're very happy and still working with them!

We've had such a great experience with Sylvan in Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria! The teachers are incredibly caring and supportive, and they've helped my daughter grow to the point where she is confidently and happily reading. They do a wonderful job working with pre-readers as well, and the environment feels safe, welcoming, and like a true community we're glad to be part of. They're also very flexible with scheduling and cancellations, and the communication has always been clear and easy.
