Review My kids started coming to Sylvan of Bel Air about two months ago, mainly to help keep them on track with schoolwork — and the experience has been wonderful. The teachers here are excellent at building confidence in children. My kids leave each session feeling proud of themselves, motivated, and more secure in their skills. As a parent from another country, I especially appreciate how consistently they communicate with me. They make sure I understand what the kids are working on, where they're improving, and how everything connects with what the school expects. This extra layer of support has been incredibly helpful in coordinating with school and making sure my kids stay on the right path. I highly recommend Sylvan of Bel Air to any family looking for both academic support and a team that truly cares.

My 16yo daughter has been attending Sylvan for SAT/ACT prep. She absolutely loves the teachers and the director. Her overall test taking skills and confidence have improved greatly! She goes weekly and it is now become just part of her schedule. I know she will be sad when she her time with Sylvan is over. The overall academic strength she has achieved is absolutely priceless. My son has been attending Sylvan Learning of Bel Air for the past 8 months. He has grown by two whole grade levels in math and has found a true love of writing. The teachers at Sylvan Learning of Bel Air prioritize making connections with the kids and really getting to know them. The staff are also very accommodating with my schedule and are happy to help in any way they can. In my personal experience, it is a challenge to find qualified tutors who have the patience to work with a special needs child, and they have all been wonderful to work with at Sylvan Learning of Bel Air. I highly recommend them!

My son has been going here since 4th grade, he's now in 7th. He started with math tutoring and is now keeping a consistent grade in class. He now does writing tutoring and is making great progress. The instructors let him bring his school laptop and they help him with work he's actually doing in class. They keep him interested and engage, which is important because he has ADHD and requires some grace. Sylvan is a great asset to have for any student that might be struggling. The staff is really awesome as well!!!

Sylvan of Bel Air is such a blessing. Our 2nd grader was behind in Reading and from the very first reach out for a consultation, I knew that our child would excel here. We noticed a new love for reading in just 2 weeks and they enjoy going for the sessions. Our child also read a book to us, fluently, in just 3 weeks! As a parent, I am so impressed with the exponential improvement in reading, focus, and confidence is just 1 month. If you're on the fence, take the leap. You will not be sorry! The staff is so friendly and responsive, and my child thinks highly of them.

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's results at Sylvan. Shoshanna and her team have done an excellent job of bolstering our daughter's education. She went from barely knowing where to start with writing assignments to writing well-executed assignments in just a few months. The monthly progress meetings, reports, and stats are very helpful in seeing the progress she is making in the Sylvan classroom itself. Possibly the best part, our daughter enjoys learning at Sylvan! Her quote says it all: "I wish school were fun like Sylvan is."
