Choosing Sylvan Learning of Dallas for our 7-year-old son has been such a positive experience. We've seen noticeable growth in his reading and writing, but the biggest change has been his confidence. His instructors at Sylvan (Ms. Linda and Ms. Lynda) have been great. They have a lot of patience and clearly care about all the students at Sylvan, based on the interactions I have seen. Sylvan at the Dallas/Highland Park location has been a great place for our child to improve on their math and reading skills. This center also has a free incentive/reward program which keeps our child motivated to learn. The teachers, Linda O., Linda J., Kem, and Janice are so nice and dedicated in teaching our child. Afrah, who is the Center Director is extremely helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgable. She provides very informative customized progress reports which focusses on how our child is improving and also makes recommendations on how to enhance our child's learning.

The teachers at Slyvan cater to whole child. Though my child faces educational struggles, I know he has the support needed to work through to build up his personal success.

We took our daughter to Mathnasium for a year, Kumon for 6 months. She continued to struggle at school. A few months at Sylvan and her grades changed dramatically for the better. They're great about setting her lesson plans for what she's working on in her classes and do a far better job communicating with us about her strengths and weaknesses. I wish we had brought her here first!
