Both my sons — one in Grade 5 and one in Grade 1 — absolutely love their learning academy! The teachers make lessons fun and engaging, and the token reward system keeps them highly motivated. They look forward to going each time and have become more confident and curious about learning. We also really appreciate the regular updates on their progress and performance. Highly recommend this academy for its caring staff and positive learning environment!

My son has been attending Sylvan of Edison for six months and the progress he's made is huge!! He was doing poorly in 2nd grade, his teacher reached out to let me know she was concerned with his phonics and reading retention. With the help of Sylvan my son has made huge improvement. It's highly noticeable in state testing but also he's so much more confident in his reading. The instructors here are patient and very supportive. I would recommend it 100%

My son started Sylvan in November-at the start of his journey he wasn't a fan of showing up twice a week/ 2 hours a day. We were concerned about his interest in school based on his grades. We felt he hit a roadblock. He was a B student slowly going into a C student. We decided to try Sylvan to fully understand how and where he needed help with both ELA and Math. They are metric based which is very helpful in understanding his learning style and what we can work on as he went along his learning journey. Rick is very detailed in the conferences, understands he does sports and is very flexible with his schedule, encourages my son in a way it doesn't feel pushy. Over time my son got over being there twice a week, he received honor roll, most improved and student of the month. Sylvan has brought my son's confidence back when it comes to his academics. I recommend this place 100%

Rick and his team are meticulous and outstanding when it comes to the focus and attention provided for my son. Classes are well organized, teachers are attentive and their guidance has made an impact on raising my child's grades this year. We recently had a conference and their guidance and explanation of the grades were thorough and helpful. Would recommend this center to anyone, we have seen much more involvement over any coaching centers that only distribute booklets and expect the parents to do all the teaching. We are happy to be enrolled in Sylvan for a very long time.

Sylvan Edison is a great place to send students who either need additional assistance or want to stay ahead of subjects in school. We have been enrolled in Sylvan Edison NJ for many years since our child was in middle school and through out high school years. Sylvan helped to provide the extra tutorial support needed for our child to achieve even more success in the classroom as well as on SAT's through their SAT prep course work which help to achieve even better scores.

Sylvan Learning at Edison has been such a wonderful experience for me in my college admissions process! Rick (owner) assisted me in finding proper resources to develop insightful essays for college. He recommended Ms. Amanda, who was an amazing teacher who worked with me from starting to finalizing my essays. Throughout the process, she helped me detail my experiences, cut out unnecessary parts, and understand how to add closure to my essays. Ms. Amanda was very positive, resourceful, and understanding during my journey of writing which helped me gain satisfaction with my essays. Overall, Rick and his team have worked closely with me in order to boost my learning and experience in the classroom. I highly recommend this learning center for college help and finding assistance in other areas as well!

Sylvan Learning Center of Edison has been an excellent experience for our family.
