My grandson Finnley recently completed his tutoring in writing. Despite having good grades in other subjects he has been resistant to developing his writing skills. I spoke to Finnley today and inquired about his experience at Sylvan. My grandson went into great detail about his "favorite place essay" , a place which I am familiar with. I am not an educator but as a nurse, I have done much teaching and writing. I am impressed with Finnley's new found enthusiasm for writing.

My grandson was a frustrated and not at all confident writer. He really disliked writing and as a teacher myself, I knew he had missed some basic skills during Covid. He started Sylvan and has now become more confident, proficient, according to the reports my daughter has sent, and best of all, he enjoys it. My kids learned from sylvan so much past few years and we still have class for my daughter twice a week which is amazing. Afra and Maddie are very nice to young learners each day welcoming them and saying good by the end of the class. She is always ready to attend the class. We enrolled our boy (10 years old at the time , now he is 11) at the end of March . He was behind in Math and English ,he was losing confidence on his learning skills. School tried to help him but I didn't notice a lot of improvement. I was mainly concerned about his self steam being low because he didn't understand in class. I Tried helping him at home , but I realized I wasn't a teacher and I wasn't encouraging him , on the opposite we both got frustrated often, trying to follow a class on youtube ! He just wasn't learning much from this routine. Finally I decided to try Sylvan , my boy took a test at the end of March ( to find out his grade level) and we started right away . I regret not finding Sylvan sooner . As of today July 1st my boy's mentality has changed , we had set up a goal together back in March ( catching up to his grade level , so he can feel confident to learn in class ) I see him going to Sylvan with a positive attitude even if he is tired . I know we are not there yet , but we are definitely in the right direction. Tuition is well worth it. Staff is beyond emphatic and friendly . Schedule is flexible Thanks for helping kids learn.

We've had a wonderful experience with Sylvan Learning Center. My kids genuinely enjoy going, which says a lot because learning support can sometimes feel overwhelming for children. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and really know how to connect with each child in a way that builds confidence. The environment feels supportive and positive, and my kids actually look forward to their sessions. What has impressed me most is that I can already see their progress. Their confidence with schoolwork is growing, and they are developing stronger learning habits for sure. I'm very grateful to the Sylvan team for creating such a supportive space for kids to learn and grow.
