Checking back in- my now 15 year old son has been going to Sylven weekly since February 2025. We got his progress report for reading today and he has made huge leaps! What's amazing to me is that a teenager actually enjoys going to tutoring! They make it fun! Sylvan of Everett has been great! My 14 year old actually looks forward to tutoring and is excited to share what he worked on each day. For a teenager to be excited about tutoring on a weekend morning, it has to be a pretty great place!

Editing after a year of tutoring: We have seen extraordinary growth in math and reading over the past year. It brings peace of mind knowing that Sylvan works at each child's individual pace. The teachers are supportive and encouraging and we look forward to the sessions. Incentives such as earning tokens (for being on task, arriving ready to learn) and golden tickets (completing 5 lessons) are motivating for my child. We love Sylvan Everett! It has been a very welcoming and calm learning environment. We are greeted each time we enter the door and it truly feels like the center cares about the success of the children they tutor. I'm glad we made the decision to enroll here.

For awhile I've seen my child had been lacking certain skills that I've seen other children his age excel with. I enrolled him with Sylvan and did an assessment test with him. They were able to narrow down his needs and tailor curriculum to fit his learning capabilities. After three sessions, we've already seen huge progress! His comprehension of specific topics has improved and he's always so excited when it's time for his sessions. The staff here has been wonderful as we've started this process for our child. I can't thank them enough. I'm excited to see how much more my child can succeed.

My daughter joined Sylvan Learning of Everett this summer, and she has been thriving in math ever since. Before enrolling, she often felt frustrated with her math homework and wasn't confident in what she was learning. We decided to start tutoring over the summer so she could build confidence before returning to school. Ms. Avnita was very gracious in explaining the program and sharing helpful information to support my daughter's success. Now, my daughter actually enjoys math and feels confident completing her work.

My two sons joined Sylvan Learning last August. They are learning math and writing under the guidance of three teachers: David, Hera, and Avnita. The teachers have built great relationships with each child. My fifth-grader son, who studies math under David, has already progressed to a sixth -grade level and working on seventh grade level. (He is Hi-Cap program) He also studies writing with the other teachers. He is always slow at writing, and sometimes he doesn't even have any ideas. Last year, he didn't write anything on his SBA (School Assessment) writing test. I believe that with writing practice, he will definitely improve his writing this year and finish his writing in the SBA test. My fourth-grader son wants to apply for the Hi-Cap Program in fifth grade. His math and writing levels must reach the Hi-Cap level. I can feel his math improving, and he enjoys reading more than before. I have already recommended Sylvan Learning to some friends. If you are still hesitating, I also recommend you to join.
