I went here myself as a teen and now I've been taking my daughter here for the last 2 years. She loves it here because she can earn prizes if she does her work really good lol. They are accommodating if your child has special needs. They are very understanding
If you're thinking of sending yourself or your child to get SAT or ACT prep, Sylvan Learning is the place to be. Sylvan Learning here in Oak Park has been the BEST tutoring center. I am a student here prepping for my SAT as a junior and it has been so helpful. I've gone up almost 2000 points since my first SAT practice. Ms. Karen and Ms. Becky are the two amazing coordinators here who are always ready to help, and my SAT prep teachers Ms. Marina, Mr. Antonio, and Mr. Giuseppi have all helped me improve greatly in both Reading and Math. They're all great teachers who have such good tips and tricks that have helped me immensely, and it is such a personalized experience. I wouldn't want it anywhere else!!

My scholar has been attending Sylvan Learning for almost two years now. The tutors there are very patient and truly seem to love working with the scholars. I've seen great improvement in both reading and math, and my scholar has become much more independent in completing his work. Sylvan has been my best experience ever! My son happened to have anxiety attacks due to reading comprehension and hated reading. All the team had the patience to work with Matthias and transformed his world! We love going to Sylvan Learning Center! They care about each of their students, know them by name and really work with families to help children succeed.
