Sylvan center has been wonderful for my nephew Khaleefah. He is in 3rd grade and we've seen great improvement in his reading and math. The teachers are patient, kind, and make learning fun. Khaleefah really enjoys going to class, and we're happy with the progress he's making.

We have been taking our daughter to Sylvan Learning, and it was the best decision we could have made. She is in the 6th grade and has been doing well in all her classes except for math. She was not receiving the support she needed in her class, and due to this she had begun to fall behind, becoming more and more distressed due to the struggles she was experiencing. Despite expressing our concerns to her school, she still was unable to acquire the support that she needed to catch up. Then, we decided to take her to Sylvan Learning in Fort Smith, and with just a few months of regular tutoring, she has managed to raise her D in math to a B as well as obtain mastery on two subjects according to her progress report. Even more importantly, by receiving the support she needed, she has begun to actually understand the subjects she is being taught in her class. We are seeing a confidence in herself and her abilities that she didn't have before, and as a parent, that is more rewarding than anything else. We could not be more grateful for this opportunity to give our daughter a chance at succeeding in a subject that she otherwise had been struggling with, and showing her that learning can be fun, not stressful.
