She took the time to understand my child's learning needs and created a customized plan that not only boosted academic performance but also built confience immediately. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about each student's success. We started to see positive changes within just a few weeks! improved reading, better focus, and most importantly, my child actually looks forward to going! He wanted to do 2 hours! The communication with parents is also excellent. We receive regular updates, progress reports, and helpful insights on how to support learning at home. Sylvan Learning Center in Boerne has been an absolute game changer for our son! He was struggling in honors math, and while we knew he was capable, we couldn't pinpoint why he was having such a hard time. After just one visit and assessment with Sylvan, they identified that he didn't lack skill—he lacked confidence and a strong grasp of the core principles. Within just one week, we saw a huge turnaround! He started completing assignments with ease and confidence, and after his very first session, he walked out saying, “That was fun!” Soon after, he took a makeup test at school that would normally take him three days (plus corrections), and this time he finished it in 30 minutes! He came home proud, saying he finally understood the material—and even thanked me for taking him to a tutor. A huge shoutout to Carter, his tutor. He's young, smart, and incredibly engaging. Sylvan Learning Center in Boerne is the best. From our first meeting, the director was so empathic and accommodating to our child's needs. The atmosphere is so conducive to learning; it's quiet, spacious, organized and calming. We tried Kumon in Leon Springs first because it was closer, but when we visited for the first time, it was noisy, crowded, cluttered and anxiety-provoking for my son. Plus, all of the tutors are certified teachers at Sylvan, which makes me feel so much more comfortable leaving my son in their hands. My son always leaves happy and confident and they have a really fun and engaging token reward system where they get to earn tokens and pick really cool toys. We are so grateful we found this place; it's definitely been a God-send and game changer for our family!!! Thank you for all you do!!!
