I had my son go to Sylvan when we noticed he was struggling with reading and it helped him out tremendously. Now I have my two grandkids going because they were so far behind in their letter recognition and phonics and reading. They have been going for 3 months and it has help them so much already. They still have grade level or two to go before they are done but what a difference in just the few months.
Jennifer and the team in rochester have been very helpful in preparing our kids for exams and targeting areas for implement. Parent communication is excellent, as is scheduling flexibility.
Our son is much more confident and enjoying school since starting at Sylvan! In 1st/2nd grade we realized he was having some reading issues likely due to some dyslexia but also being an active boy that frankly just may not love reading. He'd often come home from school tired and cranky - we didn't realize until later that it was because he was working so hard to "keep up". After making some progress at Sylvan we realized, that's not happening much. Plus he doesn't mind going to Sylvan (perk he's not battling us on that!). Oh and he was pretty excited to see he could earn tokens at Sylvan and buy prices for his hard work :) Thank you to tutors at Sylvan!
Sylan Learning Center in Rochester, MN has been the best way to help enhance our son Joe's education. We have been coming to Sylvan for sometime now. Sylvan has changed Joe's life in such a positive manner. Joseph has such a great attitude with school that he is excited to go to school, very organized with his school work by getting it completed on time, grades have improved drastically, and enjoys all of his classes. Overall, Sylvan has been life changing for Joe! Jennifer and James are outstanding to work with in addition to their tutoring staff.
