i'm so happy I made the decision of taking my son to Sylvan. I wish I had done that sooner. They understood the needs and challenges of my son and worked on him one on one to help him get better. My daughter started at Sylvan in October 2024. She goes for one hour three times a week. She was struggling at school academically and with confidence. By February 2025, her scores went from 827 to 1102. This means her grade level went from grade 9.1 to 13.0. Her confidence also increased significantly. By the end of the school year, she received all A's and B's on her final exams. Additionally, she loves her teachers at Sylvan and enjoys learning. Without Sylvan, I believe she would still be struggling academically. Even though she has made so much progress, I still see the benefits in continuing with Sylvan. I view this as a financial investment in my daughter's future and has been well worth my time and money.
Our son struggled with online learning during the pandemic. In 2022 an IEP was created, we watched him struggle to keep up with his peers. It just wasn't working he was so frustrated. We needed a more individualized approach. He has been meetly weekly with his tutor, online. We have proudly watched our son reach his academic goals. He has gained confidence in himself along the way. Thanks, Sylvan!!

The staff at Sylvan were so easy to work with. They looked at my child's test results and listened to my concerns and started a learning plan to fit my child's needs. We couldn't be more impressed with Sylvan Learning Center in Springfield, IL. Anna, the Center Director, is truly exceptional—warm, intelligent, and so genuinely invested in every child's success. She creates a welcoming environment that puts both kids and parents at ease. The teachers are equally fantastic, blending fun with learning in a way that keeps our child engaged and motivated. What stands out most is that our child has shown real academic growth—and after months of tutoring, he still loves going to Sylvan. That joy in learning is priceless. We're incredibly grateful for the positive impact Sylvan has had on both his skills and his confidence.
