Amazing staff and my daughter enjoys it! And seeing results!
Great space for kids to get extra learning. Teaches tips and tricks for homework. Easy to work with for working parents. Kid focused environment. Right in downtown for commute ease. With my 'covid kids' I wanted to make sure mine kept on track in formative years. It's nice to compare the testing Sylvan does vs. State testing (standardized). Comfort to know they've kept on track through the covid bumps. Thankful for this option and resource.
Highly recommend!! Sylvan in Stanwood is friendly, helpful and flexible when scheduling tutoring. After just the first visit it was clear that staff work great with students and grades have improved!!
I am currently in 8th grade and have been attending sylvan for a year now for math & homework support. It has been very helpful but sometimes hard but they would always help and they are very nice and sometimes fun. I definitely recommend sylvan

My daughter was struggling with math, so we enrolled her at the Stanwood Sylvan Learning Center. From the start, Sherri—the Director—was absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made for our daughter. Her math grades have improved tremendously, and more importantly, she now feels confident and proud of herself. My kids absolutely love this place. We've only been bringing them here for about a month now, but they've already expressed their love for it more than the last place we visited. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
My kids enjoy their time at Sylvan. The tutors help to create a learning environment that is fun and engaging. They have a rewards system that tracks achievements and progress. My kids are always smiling and happy when I pick them up. It's been a great experience and has helped close some of the skill gaps that needed some reinforcement. Highly recommend!

My son, Jose, has always struggled with school and being on IEP's have lowered his overall confidence and took his enjoyment from school. He had always felt like everything was wrong so he never spoke up or joined in during discussions. He has only been attending Sylvan for a couple months but he has learned to like school again. He doesn't complain about going or wanting to stay home instead and he looks forward to tutoring everyday! Sherri has made everything so easy from the sign up process to minor time changes in the schedule! I highly recommend Sylvan, we had tried everything with the school and finding Sylvan online was a godsend honestly! It's the only thing thats worked so we will definitely continue going!

Sylvan has been life changing for our family! One year difference our kid went up four grade levels and exceeding in math to this day! Sherri and her staff are phenomenal! Sylvan has truly been a life saver for our kids. Our daughter is in 5th grade and was so far behind. I'm 2 months she went from a 2nd/3rd grade reading level to an early year 4 reading level. Seeing the confidence in our kids has been such a blessing! The teachers are GOLD!!! Highly recommend!
Sylvan, came highly recommended to my Family..after one lesson I knew why. I don't know how to compare it. Children are met individually, where they are at both academically and also regarding inner confidence. Our entire family has been met with respect consideration, and a plan! Huge progress has been made even within the first lesson. I couldn't recommend it enough!

We have had such an amazing experience at Sylvan Learning in Stanwood Washington. From the moment we walked in the doors we felt welcomed, and supported.. Our child went in for testing and the very next day we sat down with Sherri and she explained everything in great detail. And we came up with plan that worked for our family and also would benefit our child the most !! We could tell that Sherri was very passionate about helping the families and children that come through her programs. We left knowing we were making the right decision for our child and their future!! Our child is doing great in the program Sherri created !! We are so proud of the hard work he has been putting the past few months. Not only has he grown academically but it has help him feel much more confident at school!! The tutor Sherri paired our child with is amazing also !! Our son looks forward to their time together every week !! He has taught him learning tips and tricks but has also helped him work through life experiences and life lessons!! It's been awesome!!!
