I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Sylvan Tarzana. We are so incredibly happy to be back with them, and I only wish we had never left. The care, dedication, and support they've given my son have been absolutely amazing. My son failed his first year of high school Spanish and had to retake the class. Thanks to the incredible team at Sylvan, he completed the course in just a few days and finished with an impressive 87 percent. What meant even more to me was how supported, encouraged, and truly respected he felt throughout the process. He was challenged academically, but he also felt safe, cared for, and uplifted. Every person at Sylvan has made such a difference, but I have to give special thanks to Nika, the director. She is truly one of a kind. As a parent herself, she understands the real-life challenges we face and has been so flexible and accommodating with our schedule. With my work and travel demands, that kind of understanding means the world to me. She has always found a way to make the timing work and never made me feel like I was a burden for needing some flexibility. From one parent to another, if your child is struggling or just needs a little extra support, please don't hesitate. Enroll them at Sylvan Tarzana. My daughter was struggling with third grade math and falling behind in a new grade level. Through sylvan's math assessment, they were able to identify gaps in her math foundations. They developed a lesson plan to help her catch up in the new school year. They made it accommodating to fit a tutoring schedule to fit her needs and help her catch up. We started tutoring five months ago, she has improved her overall math scores and grades. She feels confident and enjoys coming to tutoring. They truly make it fun and educational enough for kids to enjoy their time and get work done! So grateful to have found sylvan this year and thank you to all the tutors!

My kids have been going to Sylvan Learning in Tarzana for the last few years. Initially, we started attending to help them with some skills I identified. Recently, I've been working with the Director, as a teacher brought up some specific concerns. Sylvan worked with me to establish a plan, they even reached out to the teacher for more details. They've made themselves available for impromptu calls and texts as we worked through to ensure my son did well on his final, and he did! I feel Sylvan, specifically the Director, wants the best for my kids and she wants them to succeed. I just signed up for more sessions to bridge the gap over the summer and will continue in the fall.

The rating is for the customer service and assistance that I received with the Director at this center. She was very patient and accommodating to get my 1st grader in the right program through Sylvan. I expressed my concerns and she delivered with grace to get my child on the right path to succeed. We absolutely love Sylvan of Tarzana! My brother has been going here for a while now and they have been incredible. He went from hating learning, tutoring, and math, to actually being interested and invested. The staff there are so helpful and friendly; they really look after the students there and want to help them in anyway possible. The best educational decision I have ever made for my brother was putting him in tutoring with Sylvan.
