My son attended Sylvan in Yorba Linda and he loved going. Not only did he have a great time but he learned so much. I saw his confidence go up, he felt more comfortable reading and writing and his teachers informed me he was more willing to participate in class. I'm so glad they opened an Orange location, I'm looking forward to taking my younger son to help improve his letter and sound recognition.
My son has started tutoring sessions at Sylvan and everyone there is super friendly and helpful. His writing has improved and he seems to enjoy his time with all of the tutors.
Toby is the best, ever since he taught me geometry, i've been getting As ever since. Him and his 2 brothers help out so much.
We have been going to Sylvan for about three weeks. Coming every week has definitely shown beneficial for my kids. In the past, we have done everything from private tutors to Kumon to help with our kids reading/writing skills. The issue we came across was our children would feel so overwhelmed. They would go to tutoring, then come home to still do homework. Sylvan has been great, because they are able to help with reading/writing AND homework. My children no longer feel overwhelmed.
