Finding the right daycare was incredibly important to me, especially after losing my husband at the end of December. I feel so fortunate to have found Carissa—she is truly one of the greatest daycare providers I’ve come across. She welcomed my daughter with warmth and compassion when she was just about 10 months old, and she’s been with Carissa since January. In the four months my daughter has been there, she has absolutely thrived. Carissa is incredibly attentive and always in tune with my daughter’s needs. She keeps me updated daily with thoughtful end-of-day reports, which I deeply appreciate. Carissa is also very active with the children—she regularly takes them to the park and engages them in play throughout the day. My daughter loves spending time not only with Carissa but also with her two children, who are kind and welcoming. Her home is clean, well-organized, and child-friendly. While she does have a small dog and a turtle, both are very well-behaved and kept separate from the daycare space. The environment feels warm and safe, which gives me so much peace of mind. Carissa's mother-in-law, Michelle, is also incredibly special. She shares a beautiful bond with my daughter, and it's clear she plays a loving and supportive role in the daycare as well. Before finding Carissa, I interviewed two other daycare providers, but none gave me the comfort and confidence that she did. My daughter always comes home happy and well cared for, and I couldn’t ask for more. Carissa has a natural, loving way with children, and I am beyond grateful for the role she’s played in our lives during such a difficult time. -Jallil B.
