The Antioch School

Yellow Springs Center Claimed Updated Oct 2026

Open today 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The Antioch School is a place where childhood is respected and children are encouraged to pursue their innate curiosity wherever their abilities take them. We are the oldest democratic school in the country and have been educating children since 1921. An Antioch School education is holistic. Our program incorporates a natural integration of subjects, providing large blocks of time for exploration and discovery. We believe childhood is not simply a time to build skills for the future, but is a time to be treasured and enjoyed for its own worth.
