Our daughter attended The Little Hummingbirds Daycare from 5 months until she was 2.5 years old, and we couldn’t have been happier! Adela (owner) is warm, nurturing, and truly wonderful with little children. As first time parents, we were quite anxious about leaving our daughter in daycare so early, but Adela eased all our concerns. On the very first day, we received a video of our daughter smiling and laughing within just a few hours, which was such a relief. We loved every aspect of the care Adela provided and are incredibly thankful for the safe, loving environment she created. We highly recommend her daycare to anyone looking for a caring and attentive provider.

Our son was at Little Hummingbird from age 7 mo. to 3 yrs from March 2020 - August 2022. We were so fortunate to have our son's early years here. He was loved, encouraged, and comforted through Adela's (owner) nurturing and fun spirit. We couldn't have been more lucky to entrust him to Adela during the pandemic and through the first years of his life. Adela also took great care to help us keep sleep schedules, feeding schedules, support potty training and his general social, emotional and cognitive development. I would highly recommend Adela and Little Hummingbird to any family looking for a caring and professional day care. Adela is a true gem, we miss her dearly and our son still reminds us of how much he loved being at Adela's.

Adela is a one in a million human being. Sending our son to this “daycare” was one of the best decisions we ever made. I put daycare in quotes because it doesn’t feel anything like a normal daycare. It’s a small (adorable) group of little ones and Adela is so loving towards everyone. Every day feels like a play date with a super engaged and kind-hearted mom supervising. It was the absolute best first “out of the house” experience for my (then) 2 year old son. I can’t say enough good things! We moved an hour away and losing Adela was one of the hardest parts.

I cannot put into words how I feel about Adela and her daycare. I am a mom of two young boys and I work with small children with special needs. I am toward the over-protective side I’d say, and I couldn’t possibly trust Adela more. Not only do I feel assured that my kids are looked after closely and are safe and loved as if they were her own, but they are also being stimulated and having fun with friends. I couldn’t imagine a better experience for parents with a 6 month to 4 year old looking for a nurturing, fun, safe, all-around feel GOOD answer to their childcare needs.

I lack the words to express how much I like Little Hummingbirds Family Child Care. My son has been there since he was 5 months old (he is 2.5 now) and we both have loved every day of it. Adela is the sweetest and kindest person I know and it's such a pleasure to see him go there with a smile on his face. She's also very aware of his changes and capabilities, and if she sees something remotely wrong she will let me know and also do her own research to try to help. Furthermore, is so much more economical than a nanny share, it makes me ask myself why didn't I go in this direction with my older kids? In a sentence, I would recommend Little Hummingbirds with my eyes closed, after more than 2 years I only have good things to say about the daycare.
