Childcare program serving children and families in the Dayton area. Teachers use the ASSESS curriculum to help prepare children for school. Children are encouraged to express their interests and ask questions in order to guide each lesson. Infants and young toddlers participate in tummy time, sensory play and other activities that work on physical development. Toddlers and preschool-aged children work on arts and crafts, building with blocks, number and letter recognition, writing, math, pretend play and other hands-on learning activities. Classrooms are set up with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials that are easily accessible to children. Facility also has a large, outdoor play area with slides, climbing structures, riding toys, fruit and vegetable garden and more.
