The Respite Center

Madison Center Claimed Updated Jan 2026

The Respite Center provides non-traditional childcare (planned and urgent) and emergency respite for children ages 0-14, as well as parental support, resource linkage, and short-term counseling for caregivers and parents. For families to use the Respite Center, they must first complete an intake (approximately one hour), and is not a drop-in center. The Respite Center does not provide transportation. The Respite Center has a minimal sliding fee scale, but no one is turned away for inability to pay.
