Description
Toddlers are little busybodies. At The Village Early Learning Center, that’s okay. We balance individual attention with group activities, ensuring that your toddler is using all that energy in productive ways. From trying out the playground equipment to experimenting with art, we give toddlers plenty of opportunities to investigate, explore and play in a safe, secure, yet stimulating environment. Toddler teachers consider the unique emotional needs of each child while promoting good social skills and learning. In accordance with our nationally recognized accreditation (naeyc.org), new concepts are introduced when your child is ready; not on a set timeline.

Description
Preschoolers are natural researchers! Teachers in the Preschool classroom serve as co-researchers with their young students, setting up provocations that help students develop their own understanding of how the world works. Teachers in the classroom document the progress of the students and share anecdotes, photos, and videos of classroom activities with parents through the Brightwheel parent communication app. Our exclusive Village Early Learning Center curriculum encourages exploration and embraces all the different ways that children excel. Aligned with standards set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), our Reggio-Emilia inspired teaching strategies help children develop their own unique gifts.

Description
The Village Early Learning Center has been a leader in Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten initiative since the Florida VPK program was implemented in 2002. At The Village ELC, PreK students acquire a strong foundation of skills on which they build their future academic success. Building upon the basics, students are consistently presented with new opportunities and challenges that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development and ensure that they are well-equipped for success when they enter kindergarten. Village PreK students learn from credentialed teachers in a spacious and engaging environment. Beyond the classroom, students expand their creativity and hone their problem-solving skills as they enjoy generous outdoor play areas, learn from a professional art teacher in an outdoor art studio, and develop a love for nature in garden classrooms. Enrichment activities, such as soccer and computer coding classes are available to students that attend our half and full-day prekindergarten / VPK programs.

Description
A.N.T.S. Camp is a unique program offered exclusively at The Village Early Learning Center. For 10 exciting weeks, students who have completed grades VPK-5 will assemble into "ant colonies" for a summer of fun and learning. Teamwork and cooperation are ant characteristics, and students in the A.N.T.S. camp will enjoy camp while practicing these skills. All ants have valued roles in their colony and cooperate together for colony success, so participants will have plenty of opportunities to work together for the good of all ants in the colony. In addition to team-building, problem solving, and study of ant behaviors, students will experience a curriculum that is based on art, nature, team building, and Spanish.

Parent Reviews
This school is amazing! We have had such a terrific experience working with the staff and my son has absolutely blossomed verbally, socially and emotionally as a result of the care, patience and guidance of his teachers. He is so excited to see his friends each day, and he comes home with stories about what projects his class is doing. Even if he forgets, the teachers send daily pictures and class updates helping me know what kind of things to prompt him with, and I am so happy to see what he is getting up to in between my meetings! I have complete trust in the staff, and I get quickly alerted to any issues/bumps/concerns; communication is so much more than I would have ever expected. It is going to be so hard to go anywhere else after he has had this beautiful introduction to school!
