Parent Reviews
We feel so fortunate to have found Yuliya and the Ways We Grow! We had just recently moved to the area and were looking for a place where our child could thrive and grow whilst feeling supported and loved in a small daycare setting. Yuliya puts so much love and thought into every detail of the week with an itinerary that outlines meal plans, activities, themes, book lists and more. Her weekly recaps are a joy to read and show just how close she is to our child and their development, observing their preferences and any new beautiful things they pick up and master. Yuliya has created such a special idyllic environment for these kids and it’s everything we had hoped for. Bonus-her amazing family that extends her love and joy to our child and us.
I vowed I would not return to work until I found the perfect daycare for my child - somewhere he would be loved and nurtured like family. I found that place with Yuliya and her children at The Ways We Grow. My son was about 18 months when he started and he’s about to be 2 years old. I call Yuliya my son’s “weekday mom” because it truly has become a second family for him. He is embraced when he arrives and missed as he leaves. It’s truly beautiful. He has grown so much confidence and a gentle personality as well. Yuliya’s skill as a caregiver is evidenced by the nature of her 3 young sons. They are wonderful. As if I need to say more - we were actually looking to move away from Orlando soon and have prolonged that venture because we do not know how we will ever find such a good place for our child again. Thank you for choosing to operate a daycare, Yuliya. You have changed the lives of our entire family for the better.
I am a first time mom and this was the first time my son was under someone else's care. He was 21 months when he started attending The Ways We Grow and I was surprised at myself on how fast I started trusting Yuliya with his care. I could see that he was always happy to see her and kept mentioning her name and his friends at home. It was pretty clear how the other little kids were also attached to her even though some weren't there for long. She is very caring. Her beautiful space is a reflection of her dedication and warmth. My son loves being outside and most of the daycares have only a 30min period in the am and pm where they basically just stay around a playground. But at The Ways We Grow, Yuliya really gets the kids involved with observing nature and incorporating it into their art, games, weekly themes and activities. They plant flowers, observe the clouds formations, make bird feeders and identify the birds, play with sand and the very creative mud kitchen. A lot is done outside. Yuliya is always attentive on making sure that the kids have their water bottles. And a great advantage to this daycare is also the food. She serves plenty of fruits for snacks. There is no added sugar or processed foods. Just well balanced nutritious home made meals. Kids get to bake cookies and pies. I really like the weekly themes and how there is a toy and book rotation accordingly. Each week there is a lot of fun activities based on these themes. When the kids get to the school on Monday even the decoration has changed to match the theme. I think this is really important for the kids to engage with new topics and keep a sense of wonder and interest. Lastly I have to mention Yuliya's love for books and how this passes on to the kids. They read a lot. Not only she is a talented writer herself but also she has an amazing curation for books which my son really enjoys.
