We've tried several daycare centers in the area and have finally found one that works very well with our son who has special needs. Josh has been attending this facility for approximately three years, part-time during the school year. I like that this facility is fully enclosed, has a security entrance, is clean, has summer activities, and never required that he be fully potty trained. The best part for our family, however, is the positive attitude and friendly response of all staff members. They have a great ability to work together for the total good of all kids. The best part of my day there is pick-up time, when the staff greets me with smiles, updates about my son or even inquires about how to best meet his needs. It is one thing to have a competent staff, but another to keep a professional, positive and genuinely kind attitude in spite of challenges that special needs can bring.

We are writing to let you know what a great experience Emma and Maya have had at KinderCare Thousand Oaks. The girls both entered the Baby room when they were three months old. Both developed and adjusted well under the care of Ms. Shirin and Ms. Dawn. Emma has been with the center for seven years now and she still has to visit with Ms. Shirin every day – she definitely left an impression on her. Emma and Maya have also participated in all the wonderful programs that the center has to offer: Music classes, Cooking classes, Phonics and Active Adventures. They have learned so many things, including what it’s like to have wonderful teachers! You all exceeded our expectations for daycare. We know that you are doing something great when the girls are happy to keep playing when we arrive. Thank you for providing such a warm, safe, educational and fun environment for Emma and Maya.
