Our daughters around year and a half apart have been coming to Tia Karina’s House for two full years, since they were 6 months old and almost two years. Thinking back to the first days that we dropped them off there, we were so nervous for the transition and then so relieved to see how our girls immediately felt safe and supported there. Tia Karina’s House really is a home to them and we feel lucky that they are in such a nurturing environment. Karina and her staff are tuned in to each child’s needs and they have been such a positive presence in their lives. We’ve seen our kids learning how to be part of a group and take care of each other, gaining confidence, and discovering so many things that they love. The mixed age setting is really special and it’s wonderful to see them learn from the older kids and then become leaders and helpers for the younger ones. There will be openings soon and we definitely recommend this program!

Our child has been with Tia Karina and her wonderful team for 2 years and has been so lovingly cared for and supported in her growth and development, I can only offer the highest recommendation! Karina is caring and dedicated to her own continuing education, bringing creative new ideas into the school. I also love that they have plenty of outdoor time, and nutritious meals are provided - breakfast & lunch! As others have mentioned, I have also felt personally supported as a parent by Karina, which is always valuable but especially when entrusting your child to another's care. The children here are confident, kind, and conscientious, and the families are lovely! It has been a blessing to be part of this community.

We cannot express enough how much we've loved our experience at Tia Karina's. We've been fortunate enough to have shared almost two years together, as our son started when he was about a year old and is now almost three! We actually would have loved to continue (and add our new baby who's due in April), but we've decided to move out of state and so we sadly have to say goodbye. Our son has thrived under the care of Karina as well as tias Ana and Mari. Every morning, he runs excitedly to play with all his friends and tias; he doesn't even look back for me and has to be reminded by his tias to give his mama a hug, which is truly a wonderful feeling. We love that he plays and engages in all the creative activities that Karina plans each day with a mixed age group where he can be a big brother-type to the smaller toddlers and babies and also learn from the bigger kids. So many milestones here -- under their care, our son has blossomed with great verbal skills, confidence, and independence. We didn't even have to potty train; our son just watched the older kids and started to do the same, so we feel super lucky! Karina truly understands our littles, always taking opportunities to further learn about early childhood development, and she passes on her knowledge with really helpful advice, which we are so grateful for. We've also gotten to know the parents and kids who attend Karina's daycare, and that has been a blessing in itself. The kids are all fantastic and love to play with each other, often giving hugs to one another and dragging out pick-up/drop-off when they can :-). It's just such a special community. Karina, tias Ana and Mari, and the rest of the family have truly been like an extended family for us. Everything they do is thoughtful, intentional, and done with so much love. We're going to miss them all so much!

Our daughter has been at Tia Karina's House since March 2022 and we absolutely love it. Leaving our daughter in Karina's care feels like leaving her with family--Karina goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. I know my daughter is safe, loved and learning every day. Karina is a former teacher and is extremely committed to continuing education in the fields of child development and education. The Three Tias (Karina, Ana and Marie) are all incredibly warm and attentive. They provide an excellent variety of activities and learning experiences for the children. They pay special attention to social and emotional development. The children are fed healthy, well-balanced meals and special occasions are celebrated in lovely, creative ways. Our daughter is so happy going to Tia Karina's House. There is an opening, starting in June 2023, for a child 18 months or older. I highly recommend this opportunity to any family looking for the highest quality care for their child!

My daughter was with Karina and her team from 9 months to 2 years. I can't recommend them enough. Karina is super organized, communicative and creative. The space is excellent for kids to get out their energy as well as develop new skills. My daughter would come home showing is the new things she learned -- drinking from a cup cleanly at 1 yo! I'm pretty sure one of her first words was "Ana" and I heard she would follow Tia Ana around saying her name over and over ;). We will miss Karina and her team as my daughter moves to the same school as her older sister now that she is 2.

Tia and her staff feel like family! When we started with Tia back in January 2020, our son was only 8 months old and we were terrified new parents! Tia not only made us feel so comfortable and safe, but we saw how much our son was immediately learning and LOVING every second of child care! Tia is incredibly communicative, thoughtful, patient, and sends articles communicating with families that are amazingly helpful as new parents figuring out what is best for our child. We could not be happier and are so blessed to have found her for our son!

Our son has been at Tia Karina’s House full time 5 days a week since he was 20 months old, and now he’s about to start kindergarten. Karina and her staff have been very personable and loving, in addition to being great daycare providers. They take an active interest in his development through a great mix of play and learning activities. We are glad to see Karina stay up to date on the latest developments in child care by continuing her education in this area. Karina has always communicated well with us about our son and what’s happening at daycare - lots of pictures and videos of daily activities. And most importantly, our son has enjoyed his time at Tia Karina’s.

My son LOVES Tia Karina, her family, and two other Tias! Tia Karina's has been his second home for the last 2.5 years and they shower him with love and nourish him with homemade breakfast and lunch every day. He learns so much in a warm and happy environment exposed to Portuguese, Spanish and English. Every Friday he brings home all the work he did that week and we see his growth in every artwork / writing / crafts he creates. Karina regularly sends us pictures and videos of all the children having a great time singing, playing, drawing, painting, planting, sleeping, etc. and generally growing into happy, confident kids. My husband and I are sad that our son has to leave Tia Karina's to attend kindergarten in the fall. Karina and her family are our extended family and we will keep visiting even after our son graduates. Thank you Karina, Ana and Elida!!!

Our 16-month old daughter, Bayley, has been attending Tia Karina's childcare for several months now, and we can not say enough about how wonderful Tia Karina's is. We are so grateful for the care our daughter has received at Tia Karina's - the environment is exceptional: clean, safe, largely outside and with wonderful areas for activities (garden, arts/crafts, reading area, gym/motor skills) and much more. Beyond the environment, Karina is exceptional: incredibly caring, attentive to our daughter and to all the children, and incredibly learned in child development. She has been a great partner and collaborator to us as our daughter grows, learns and reaches new stages of development. The teachers working with her too are fantastic - friendly, fun and attentive. Our daughter is thriving at Tia Karina's and it is because of Karina and the teachers, the care and attention, and the focus on letting the children get to know themselves and the world around them. Everything from the food and activities provided is top notch and we really feel so lucky to have our daughter cared for in this way. Tia Karina's has our highest recommendation and we remain forever grateful for the wonderful experience our daughter (and us) are having! Thank you so much!

My 20 month old has been going to Tia Karina’s since he was 4 months old. We are now moving out of the area and we are absolutely devastated about him having to leave Tia Karina’s. He’s fed homemade, organic meals, knows sign language, talks and says more words than any other 20 month old we know—his pediatrician agrees, and LOVES his teachers and friends at school. We’re an English-speaking home, so it was important to us that he’s exposed to other languages and cultures. I’m so proud that he understands Spanish, Portuguese and English words, he always asks us for his “agua” which is adorable. Tia Karina’s is more than a daycare. They teach so many social and academic skills, he prefers to play with books over anything else because he’s read to so much by his teachers. Tuition is very competitive and the lessons your child will learn here are invaluable. I’m so glad we chose this home daycare, I could not recommend them highly enough.

Tia Karina's house is a warm, inviting, and loving enviornment. My husband and I had to make the difficult decision to put our 3 month old in childcare. After extensive research we found Tia Karina's. From the moment we walked in her door to interview her I felt so comfortable and that she genuinely loves "her kids". She makes food with the kids from the farmers market and I even ran into her and her husband at the farmers market!! Her assistants are just as warm and loving! The highlight of my day is when I get pictures of my son playing and getting all the attention he deserves. I cannot think of a better more caring place to watch my baby!
