Parent Reviews
Our daughter has been in both the toddler and Montessori preschool programs in SoMa and adores Tinycare. They are truly the best of both worlds in terms of combining the intimacy of a home daycare setting with the experience and support of a large center. As our daughter transitioned from a daycare to preschool setting, she remained with many of the same children, which helped her adjust seamlessly - it really felt like it was simply an upgrade with the same group of friends coming along with her. Tinycare's teachers are exceptional in terms of the level of detail provided on a daily basis. We receive near real-time pictures and updates within the app so it almost feels like we're there with her and makes it so easy to connect with her about her day-to-day experiences. Throughout this tumultuous year, Tinycare has been exceptionally communicative and has worked closely with all the parents to reopen in a way that allowed them to reopen earlier than most other preschools while maintaining exceptional safety standards. Our daughter has been with teachers Nuria, Elo, and Marjory and all have been so kind and caring, while also demonstrating their years of experience in dealing with children. She even talks about her teachers on the weekend! I highly recommend Tinycare to anyone considering childcare options in the city. They are truly exceptional.
Our son was at this school for the summer. He learned so much, and afterwards at home was always excited to tell share with us what he learned. There is an app to inform you of their potty breaks, how much they ate etc, but the best part is the regular photos showing how much fun the kids are having. Everyday they are doing something different, but with the same basic structure for consistency. The high teacher ratio is great, and all kids get a lot of attention. Although not my son's temperament, I'd say this would be a great environment for a shy or nervous child, or their first experience out of the home away from a parent. It is a very nurturing and loving school. The kids all seem to really care about one another too. My only downside is the lack of attached outdoor space, but the kids go outside everyday (weather/air conditions permitting) to one of the local parks to run around and play games for an hour or so. Tinycare in general are very communicative, always trying to improve and requesting feedback. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a school or daycare. It's great value for money too. My son misses the teachers and his classmates very much, it was definitely a family, even though we weren't there for long.
