Montessori childcare program serving children and families in the Navy Yard area in Washington, D.C. Teachers provide a variety of hands-on learning activities focused on school-readiness and helping children become more independent. Children work on practical life and self-help skills, sensory-based activities, math, science, literacy, art and more. Daily schedule allows include time for children to choose activities and materials that interest them and learn through play, both indoors and outdoors. Preschool-aged children also participate in Spanish each week.
