Uuganaa's Family Daycare
Open today 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Description provided by the business.I believe that small class size and the development of a strong community allow me and my team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens.

Parent Reviews
This was our first experience with daycare and we started sending our son at about 5 months old. It’s hard to understand what’s going on inside during the day but the best indicator was that as our son aged he would get the biggest smile on his face as we showed up to Uuganna’s and huge smiles when we picked him up. That meant the world to us! Uugantsetseg has been so kind, thoughtful and wonderful and the staff equally as kind. The space is clean, we love receiving pictures throughout the day and we’re so happy we chose this daycare.
Our daughter has been with Uuganaa for over a year now, starting when she was just 3 months old, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience. Every single day our daughter smiles as soon as we arrive at the door, and she’s always happy and content when we pick her up at the end of the day. Uuganaa has been incredibly supportive through every stage, from infancy into toddlerhood, and it’s obvious within moments of meeting her how deeply she cares for each child as an individual. We’ve appreciated her clear communication, warmth, and attentiveness, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such loving hands each day.
We’ve had a positive experience overall. My son started here at 4 months old and is now 18 months, and it’s clear the providers genuinely care about the kids. He has always been happy at drop-off and pick-up, and we’ve appreciated the loving environment they create. The space is consistently very clean and organized, and I especially appreciate that the kids regularly get outside time at the park. We also found the daycare to be a great value compared to many other options in the city. We’re grateful for the care and attention they’ve given our son over the past year+.
Uuganaa has been such a wonderful provider for our daughter since we joined her daycare over a year ago. She cares deeply for our daughter and takes great care of her. Our daughter is always happy to go to “school” and is happy when we pick her up, which is the best barometer for peace of mind. The space is clean and bright, opportunities to visit the local parks for play and Uuganaa will taken communicate our daughters needs in a positive and proactive way. We look forward to having her take care of our son as well.
Uuganaa seemed to genuinely love children and did a pretty good job, even mentioned things to me about my son I wasn't realizing (like needing to bring more food), however, after my experience with her, I now understand the importance of gut instincts, asking questions and understanding CA childcare laws. If she operates as she is supposed to, with only 4 infants, I think she would be a very good daycare provider. We abruptly stopped going to her when CDSS did their normal annual inspection and found she had way too many infants in her care. Most parents knew she was operating over capacity but didn't realize how bad it was. Most even wanted to go back. You can read the full report at https://www.ccld.dss.ca.gov/carefacilitysearch/ (where you should search any daycare you go to anyways), search by her license number (posted above on this page). I'm still torn on if she did this because of greed or she genuinely doesn't understand the licensing rules/it was a cultural thing to think having 11-14+ infants in your care with only 2 providers is okay.
I am extremely grateful to Uuganaa for her exceptional care and kindness. She is truly remarkable and brings so much joy to the children. I deeply appreciate all that she does.
Ms.Uuganaa is so sweet, so my son and i loved her when he was under her care. Most of all, I love how the way she runs her daycare. It was really clean all the time as I remembered. Thank you!
