I am very pleased with the staff at KinderCare Vernon Hills Creekside. The Director, Sarah and Assistant Director, Alyssa, are friendly, personable and always make the center a fun and educational place for my daughter. I also appreciate how they think about the parents as well. The newsletters are informational and the breakfast/coffee is a plus. My daughter loves going to Ms. Debra W's for cooking and music class. She is innovative and creative. My daughter raves about her classes. Ms. Simona and Ms. Roxy - Ms. Simona made a very nice book that encompassed all the pictures she took of my daughter doing projects in her class. She even included pictures of her just having fun. It's a book that I'm ever so grateful to have. As a working mom, you miss those precious moments. My daughter loved the original songs created by Ms. Roxy. My daughter sang songs and showed our family dance moves that she learned from Ms. Roxy. Needless to say she loved the two-year-old room with these teachers.

Today I dropped my three-year-old daughter off to her Preschool class and decided to stay a few minutes. Her teacher, Ms. Brittany, showed exemplary classroom management. As a teacher myself, I find it very impressive when I see great classroom management being displayed. Students sat quietly and raised their hands waiting to be called on. Students sang songs related to the days of the week, months in a year, and seasons. Students also had to report their observations on the current weather to their teachers and peers. Needless to say I was very impressed by her engaging lesson. The students were focused on the lesson being presented and wanting to participate. Ms. Brittany is doing a fantastic job teaching my daughter and her classmates. She is a natural teacher.

We have been with KinderCare since our daughter was four months old. KinderCare has a wonderful staff that is friendly and treats my child like she was one of their own. KinderCare offers programs that teach your child how to read, write and do math. They also have fun programs such as cooking and working on science projects. Ms. Debra has helped our daughter prepare for Kindergarten and we are so thankful for everything she has done for our daughter. Our daughter is now seven years old and is reading books at a fifth grade level, in math enrichment classes and is in great books in school. I am very pleased with KinderCare and would recommend this facility to parents who are looking for a place that is safe, caring and nurturing.
