This is our second year at WIWS and we are so grateful to have found it! The full outdoor program is a dream. Kids get to spend their morning in a breathtaking setting, with experienced teachers and a heart warming community. We specially have enjoyed the seasonal traditions and the knowledge of the natural world it has brought to our family. I highly recommend it!
Our five year old attends WIWS, it was one of the reasons for us to move to Whidbey Island. The school is all that we could ask for. The program is designed to get them involved with nature and develop their imagination. We can definitely see the great influence in our child, the uplifted confidence and new skills. We are grateful to have the Whidbey Island Waldorf School in our lives.
The Whidbey Island Waldorf School is an amazingly, beautiful school tucked into the heart of Whidbey Island. We have always been warmly invited and welcomed in this community, and find the teaching staff to be pleasantly warm, knowledgable, and patient with our little ones. A true gem!
My five year old attends the Great Forest Program. It has been AMAZING for her and for us as a family. It has inspired us to spend more time outdoors and has awakened a deep sense of wonder of the natural world in her. She comes home excited to share about fairy gardens in the woods and grandmother rock. The school is sheer magic for her.
