Program follows Ascend curriculum and allows for individualized lesson plans based on each child's interests and learning pace. Infant program introduces language and motor skill development through Baby Sign, storytime, music and songs, and purposeful play and conversations. Students in the toddler program gain independence and academic knowledge through discovery, exploration, and an open structure classroom. Early preschool students study Spanish, literacy, music, and art while building critical and creative thinking skills. Older preschool curriculum presents students with decision-making opportunities and daily schedule includes science, math, social studies, computer activities, reading, gardening, art, and cooking. Pre-kindergarten students continue building vocabulary, confidence, and academic skills in preparation for kindergarten. Optional Kindergarten Club is offered and allows preschoolers to gain extra practice in writing, math, and science skills. Center encourages parent involvement through an open-door policy and regularly planned family events.

It starts at the top...and this location in Lansdowne is run by a great team. Kids are happy during drop off and pick up. It doesn't feel like my kids are just there to be watched...but they actually come back excited to tell me what they learned.
We are very happy with the services provided by the teachers and staff at Winwood. Any questions I have brought up have been professionally answered. My Jalen is shy but loves the outside playground fun, food time & his friends in his new classroom. Jalen's teacher Mrs. Sandra & all her helpers have done well with looking after my kiddo. I applaud them for having the energy and patience to keep all their little ones in their watch happy, busy and most of all safe.
I think this school is thriving - great leadership and great teachers.. my children are safe and loved and that is most important. Great extracurricular events as well. We are really enjoying the updates made to our school!
Almost 9 years that I trust Winwood of Lansdowne I think says it all. Yes , my two oldest daughters were here too , and now they will be here for summer camp. My youngest is on the Pre-K program.
I love this school and how they run things. My kid comes home happy and loves his teachers. He feels safe and I feel great about his safety with the staff. I appreciate their notification systems and all their activities. I highly recommend winwood Lansdowne
From the moment I stepped into Winwood, I felt welcomed and comfortable. From the cleanliness of the facility, to the friendly staff, and the detailed curriculum, I was impressed. My daughter, who is transitioning from a home daycare, has been adjusting well and she runs to the teacher at drop off! Her happiness is reassuring!
