Description
From field trips to museums, parks, and splash pads to building volcanoes and parachutes in class, we have all of the fun in summer care. By the time summer gets here, your children will be begging to return to our summer program! Our Director staff puts so much time and effort into coordinating curriculum and fun into these few shorts weeks, and it definitely pays off. We have outdoor play areas and indoor gyms for use as well, and there is always a lesson woven into their activity so we can secretly keep learning while we’re having fun.

We started YBR in 2026 and only being there a month I can say my daughter has grown and is so happy/active there. I love all the updates and communication through the app. The girls really are gems and I appreciate them for taking care and helping guide her each day!!
My son as been attending daycare at YBR Altoona for about 8 months now. I can honestly say it’s been nothing short of a great experience!! I was nervous when it came time to transition him from the in home daycare he was at previously (he went to the same in home from 4 mo. to almost 5 years) to a more structured, public setting. But the entire team made both my son and I feel extremely comfortable and SAFE. Not only do I get multiple updates throughout the day regarding everything from eating to potty breaks, but I feel like YBR is preparing my son for when he starts school in the fall. It’s been great to see him grow socially!! He’s always smiling and enjoying his friends when I arrive at pickup time and tells me all about his day on the way home. When I enrolled my son I explained to the team that I had a lot of anxiety about daycares. They were very comforting and understanding of this and encouraged me to check in or even call if I felt the need, to make sure my son was adjusting well. (I did and he was!) I feel my son is safe at YBR. They have specialized security that only parents and staff have access to along with an abundance of indoor/outdoor security cameras and fencing around the outdoor play areas. Not to mention a full team of wonderful people who have an eagle eye when it comes to the kids. I can yammer on more about my experience with YBR Altoona, but I’ll just end with this- I would (and have several times already) recommend this team to other families looking for childcare. Flexible scheduling, reasonable rates, a clean environment, knowledgeable and caring staff and happy kids. ☺️
We have used YBR in Altoona since the day it has opened and we are so greatful for the YBR and their employees! The director Ms Aubrey is very easy to work with, helpful, compassionate, and very responsive. Ms Maelea, Ms Tamara, Ms Erika, Ms Kim, Ms Brittany, Ms Hellen, Ms Navaeh, Ms Elisha, and MANY MORE are professional, polite, show all kids compassion, and care!! Dropping off my kiddos before I head off to work is the hardest part of my day, but when I leave I know my kiddo is in great hands, will have a day filled with fun actitives, and be shown love unitl i can return!
They are wonderful with our boys. Everyone there knows their names and they’ve learned so much. Great and fast communication either in the app or email. A wonderful group that we trust.
Love it ! My son is very cautious with where he is left. He comes in and walks off and don’t mind me leaving. He has grown so much and I’m glad I made yellow brick road the first stop and experience for my son. Ms. Valencia and her co-teacher are the best along with all the other women that work there they help each other and balance out those beautiful hugs and smiles. These women here love our babies and I’m safe with leaving my baby with them.
