We balance academics and socialization to create a private junior high school experience unlike any other. Private middle school classes at Fusion Academy are 1-to-1: just 1 student and 1 teacher per class. Teachers match your child’s pace and preferences so they can learn better, dive deeper, and never get left behind. Schedules are customized around your family’s goals and plans. Our infant space has room for 8 children. We make sure all infants grow and learn at their own pace by providing plenty of tummy and floor time, sensory activities, and age-appropriate learning materials. In the warmer months we go on walks and splash around in water tables, just like the big kids!

Lake Harriet Community Child Care Toddler

We make sure toddlers have plenty of chances to work one-on-one with teachers, in small groups, and with their whole class. Our toddlers get outside as much as possible, as well. Even in the winter, the toddlers go outside to explore and play! The toddlers enjoy art, circle time, and free play!

In the Step By Step infant program our first and foremost goal is to provide a safe, clean and peaceful child care environment. The emphasis is on stimulation and comfort for the very young child.

Toddler Program

Our trained staff has developed a program for the 16 months to 2.5 year olds that will assist your child in developing vocabulary, social relationships and self help skills in a warm, friendly environment.

Infant Care

Our teachers are consistent, loving, and experienced. We provide a variety of activities that promote learning such as reading stories, singing songs, playing games, exploring musical instruments, going for walks, crawling on climbers in our classroom and in our indoor gym, etc.

Toddler Care

Our teachers are loving, experienced, and consistent. The toddler daily schedule is structured, academically focused and fun! Weekly lessons and activities focus on a curriculum rich in reading, math, science, art, music, sensory, dramatic play and imaginative play.
