Tutoring & Mentoring Programs

Some subjects don’t come easily and can become a barrier to moving forward — academically and emotionally. That’s why we offer tutoring across all required subject areas and for many electives as well. At Fusion, our teachers are our tutors. They are trained in personalized, one-to-one education and are subject matter experts. In the one-to-one setting, they also act as mentors to their students. NOTE: This tuition rate includes 5 tutoring sessions.

Tutoring in Reading

At Sylvan Learning, your child will experience significant growth in reading. We’ve perfected a highly personal approach, tailoring lessons to your child’s specific needs, from phonics and vocabulary to fluency (reading out loud) and reading comprehension.

At Sylvan Learning, your child will experience significant growth in writing. We’ve perfected a highly personal approach, tailoring lessons to your child’s specific needs, from strengthening writing mechanics and mastering proper sentence structures to encouraging creative expression.

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Our after school program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children ages 5 through 12. Reading Program (6-12)
