I have been sending my child to Sylvan Learning for about six months now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Both my child's academic achievement and overall attitude toward learning have improved significantly. My child(1st grade) is currently taking Math and Writing classes, and I believe the core strengths of this center are: - Effective Motivation: They encourage students to take their studies seriously through a well-structured motivational system. - Thorough Concept Mastery: Through regular testing, they ensure my child truly understands the material. If there is a gap in knowledge, they revisit the concept until it is perfectly mastered. - Personalized Learning Path: Regular parent-teacher consultations keep me well-informed about my child's progress. They truly strive to find the most optimized learning route for each individual student. Every time I have a consultation with Cindy, I can feel how much the teachers genuinely care about my child's growth. My daughter recently began tutoring sessions at Sylvan and has had an excellent experience so far. The lessons are customized to address her specific needs, including grammar, vocabulary, and writing. She stays motivated by earning tokens for each lesson she completes, encouraging her to keep learning. Flexible scheduling and monthly personalized feedback have been very helpful. I highly recommend Sylvan to anyone seeking to improve their language skills.
My son has entered his fourth year at this Sylvan, and we are very pleased with his grades. His reading and reasoning skills continue to be good and he is doing a couple of years ahead of his grade level.
We had a wonderful experience at the Southlake Sylvan. Miss Cindy is superb to work with, very communicative, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable with her education background and work experience. I really enjoyed her. I had three kids up there all summer and they had fabulous teachers working with them. Their teachers were kind, very effective in explaining new concepts, and encouraging. My kids would come out of their sessions feeling happy and accomplished—- as a mom, I was so grateful for that. Highly recommend!
We love 'Sylvan Learning of Southlake'! It's been such a blessing for our grandsons and our family. Their grades have finally improved and they're more confident in school. Highly recommend to any parent who worries about report cards!
